      Douglass Andree of**** *****************. Chambersburg, PA *****-**** ************** has failed to complete work on our ******* Pool unit at *******************. *********** ** 25427.On May 19, 2023 he came to our house to replace the pool line and impeller motor. In doing so he broke the impeller. He told us  that he would order a new impeller and return to install it within a few weeks. As we have use him to service our pool in the past, we paid him in full for his work (total amount $6700).However, as of 11 August 2023 he has not returned any of our telephone calls or emails and the impeller needs to be replaced/installed. A ****** search indicates that other customers have had similar problems with Douglass Andree. In view of his not responding, we have reach out to ******* Pool to identify another service person and to suggest they may want to consider whether he should be recommended to other ** customers.

      Within 10 minutes of sending email to ******* Pools (with a copy to ** *********************** that outlined our problem and included a copy of the BBB complaint, **. ********************** sent us an email. Ultimately, he offered to complete the work, but we have lost confidence in his work and have arranged a 3rd party to finish work. We appreciate BBB's effort in this matter. We would not recommend **. ********************** to anyone.

      We bought a home with a deteriorated endless pool and paid **** $15,000 to restore it to working order in March 2021. The motor that powers the swim current blew out within 6 months of purchase in September 2021. Nearly 2 years later, this issue is STILL NOT RESOLVED as we still have a worhless hole in the ground right now. We paid $15,000 for 6 months of use and have heard nothing but excuses and multi-month stretches with no response. Tried to have ******* ***** help us with him but they are basically useless. We just want to have the have the motor replaced under warranty, which he told me has been in his possession since late 2022. I can't remember how many times I've heard "next week" to not hear back for several months. That's what I heard in January and still waiting after multiple emails, call and text.

      We purchased a pool. Doug was the installer. The pool company shipped the wrong size pool cover piece, called a "leading edge": Doug said he would get it from ******* ***** (manufacturer) and get it to us. ******* ***** confirmed it was consigned to him last year, but he never delivered it. Between my wife and me, we have reached out at least a dozen times with no response. When we complained to the pool company, they were able to get hold of his assistant who promised to call us, which never happened. This has been going on for over a year now - we keep reaching out, and keep getting no response. We're heading into winter again and last year we used a jury rigged piece, but we're going to have to buy one, and when I think about having to do that, it just irritates the heck out of me.
