We had a 5 year contract with this company. We reached out to them to cancel the contract prior to the contract expiring. It seems like they are trying to prevent customers from canceling their services. We had issues with them prior to deciding to cancel our service at the end of our contract. They provided us with defective refurbished toners. They would not send replacements. We are a business and we need our equipment, especially printers and copiers, to be functional. We cannot be without those devices. I have sent numerous emails only to be dismissed and asked to send the same information again. I spent 30 minutes on hold, waiting to talk to someone only to have the call disconnected. This is definitely not acceptable. We have been working on this since the fall of last year and they still haven't taken care of our request. Our contract ran out in november 2022 and they are continuing to send us past due notices. We paid them the overage for the contract and shouldn't have received more bills, but they continue to send them.Initial Complaint

We canceled our service with Amcom in writing in September of 2020 which was expiring in October of 2021. I spoke directly to customer service who advised it would be terminated effective the end date of our three year contract of 10/2//2021. We received a partial final billing which was paid on 10/5/2021. We received our last toner cartriges in September of 2021 and have no longer received any toner cartridges since that time. Amcom also ceased monitoring our equipment onsite and we have no Amcom supplied equipment on our premises. Yet beginning November Amcom began sending invoices t our company again in spite of the cancellation and our company in no way being provided with any service from Amcom. I have repeatedly discussed this with their customer service who have told me they would correct this but it still has not been corrected to this date.Initial Complaint

We have made many attempts over the last month to cancel our account with ComDoc/AmCom. We were able to speak to a person only once who instructed us to send an email to cancel. We have sent several emails with our intent to cancel and also to request a final bill. We have received no response to the emails or voicemails left for various departments and continue to be billed monthly fees. Every message we have left, including ones specifically left with our account rep Patrick M***** on 3/2/222 and 3/10/22, have gone unanswered and we are unable to speak to anyone about this ongoing issue.Business response

This is a response to complaint filed on March 11, 2022 toward Amcom Office Systems, by ********* ******* Amcom has terminated the contract as of 4/7/2022. Amcom is also in the process of remitting old payments to the customer. The issue should be resolved and if there are any further issues please let us know and we will be happy to assist,
