  When the 2019 tax season came around, COVID-19 was running rampant and as a result, I was not able to have my 2019 taxes completed. When the 2020 tax season came around, I held off doing those taxes because I was a year behind. On January 23, 2021, I went to Liberty Tax to have my 2019 tax completed. When I arrived, they had me fill out a form which included writing my name, address, the tax year that I wanted done, and whether I was a dependent or independent. I put down that I wanted my 2019 taxes completed, and that I was also a dependent. I forgot the name of the woman that was doing my taxes, but when she called me over to her desk, I reminded her that I was here to have my 2019 taxes done and that I was a dependent. When she was finished with my taxes, I asked her if she made sure that the taxes completed where 2019, and she looked at me and said, "Oh, you were doing 2019 taxes? Thats when I started to get frustrated because it was written on the form that I was here to do 2019 taxes and I told her when I sat down with her that I wanted my 2019 taxes completed. She told me that my 2019 taxes were put in as 2020 taxes, which makes no sense to me because all of my documents needed to have my taxes done all say 2019 on them. Another woman came over to help her out and she told her to send notes to their processing center saying that the taxes that were just submitted were 2019 taxes not 2020 taxes. The second woman told me that they put the note in to have it corrected, and I thought that would fix the problem, so I settled down a bit. The price to have my taxes done were $339.00 which I paid with my card. A while later Shari K******** called to say that the woman put me down as an independent instead of a dependent. So, I had to give back about $1,800. Shari K****** amended my taxes on March 5, 2021, but when I went to do my 2020 and 2021 taxes somewhere else, they said my 2020 taxes were already submitted. Shari K******* mentioned to talk to IRS about what they did.
