I bought a transmission for $686. My shop took my truck to Eds transmission to have the transmission put in he took off the pan and seen a whole bunch of metal. He told me hes not putting it in. Its no good. I bought the transmission on June 21, 2024 and try to take it back July 17 24. They said I was 30 days over, The return policy and said to me because I took it to Eds. They will not give me my money back, but if I took it somewhere else, they wouldve gave me my money back then policy transmissions are guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase gears are here to be in good condition at the time of purchase flushing, inspect transmission cooling lines and add fluid levels to manufactures adjust levels. There is no responsibility for improper insulation by customer. Is that against their return policy. How can you check the years and everything working properly if you cant take the transmission apartBusiness response

Mr. ********* purchased a transmission on 6/21/2024. He came to our location on 7/17/2024 and spoke with an employee (**** ******) and explained to him that the transmission that he bought was not needed because the transmission shop sold him a transmission that they had for sale. He wanted to return it for a refund and needed his money to pay Eds Transmission Shop. He was told that he should go to the office. We explained to Mr. ********* that we do not give refunds for parts not used or needed. If there was a defect with the part, he had a 30-day warranty, and we would give him another transmission. Mr. ********* did not allow us the opportunity to confirm that our transmission was bad and provide him with a replacement. For the above explanation we did not issue a refund.
