I purchased a bag of ******'s Onion Bagel on May 5, 2023 and after a couple of days, the bagels had green mold all over. The bagels were never opened prior to the day of mold discovery. The bagels were kept refrigerated since the bagel was purchased refrigerated. I purchase these bagels all the time and this is the first time this has happened. I've tried to reach out the company in writing and by phone but my attempts has been unsuccessful. It has been a cat and mouse game to reach anyone. I would like a replacement or a refund.Business response

A message was left for ******* on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 7:12 PM ET. I apologized for the lack of communications and appreciated her contacting us. I told her to expect two (2) ******'s Bagel coupons in the mail and the coupons will be sent early the week of May 22, 2023. I told her to wait two weeks for them to arrive. On the late evening of Thursday November 3 2022 I purchased a box on entenmanns brand 12 pack of softener cake donuts for 6.99. I purchased the donuts at at a grocery store located on ** **** ****** **** Westerville Ohio. When I got arrived home to pack up my groceries and taste the donuts they were stale and too pale. I immediately emailed the Entenmanns customer relations department after 1230am on November 4 2022 and attached photographs of the stale donuts requesting a refund. I received no email correspondences back. I followed up with a phone call to the Entenmanns customer service number on the evening of November 16 2022 and they left a detailed voicemail message and they have refused to call and email me directly as I requested. I also emailed the corporate customer relations department of ******'s on November 15 2022 about the donuts after going to the same ** * ****** **** to shop and to complain about the donuts and there was no ****** employee staff to speak with and it was very hot and a gas leak broke out in the store causing me extreme aggravation and discomfort causing me to start to feel sick. I have also followed up a fourth time by emailing the bimbos bakery corporation and I have heard nothing from them. It should not take multiple correspondences and 15 days to process a refund of 6.99 plus tax for ******'s and Entenmanns stocking bad donuts in the ******'s store on ** **** ****** **** and then not being responsive to apologize and to return my money back into my form of payment.Business response

This issue was resolved on November 17, 2022. The coupons wouldn’t have been received by 11/22/2022 when you notified us of the complaint.
Stacie provided us the information necessary to complete her quality issue complaint and we sent 2 replacement coupons and an email letting her know to expect the coupons.
Stacie hasn’t attempted to contact us since this time.

Monday January 23 2023 144pm. I have received no coupons in the mail and if this matter was handled in a timely matter back in NOVEMBER 2022 it would not still be lingering until now. It is a whole new year and we are still disputing a 7.00 box of stale donuts from almost three months ago which is horrible. The ******'s on ** **** ****** **** Columbus Ohio, ********** and Bimbos should have solved this matter before Thanksgiving 2022. It would have been simpler just to credit back my form of payment on November 3 2022Business response

Thank you for the feedback. We didn't realize Stacie never received her coupons nor were the coupons mailed to: **** ********** **, Columbus OH ********** returned to us as undeliverable. We will be glad to send new updated coupons to her via certified mail to guarantee delivery and for the inconvenience we will sending an extra two (2) coupons for a total of four (4). We have her email address as: *************@*****.com and once the certified letter is created, we will email her the tracking number to assist and aide her in the delivery of her coupons.Customer response

On Saturday January 28 2023 I finally received a response and resolution from Bimbos Corporation & **********. I received several blue and silver coupons in my mailbox. I hope if and when I go to another grocery store I don't purchase anymore stale ********** cake donuts or the special discounted coupons will be useless.

Your bread Natures Harvest Healthy Habits got moldy and we had to throw it out. There IS NO DATE - The smell after opening it was so strong we had to freeze it in a ziplock bag. The bread did not look moldy at all. It just reeked. NO DATE. ******* La Habra, Ca. There is no company called Natures Harvest . How are people supposed to know that Bimbo is the company who manufactures Natures Harvest. Please send check for $6.00 for the bread, as the coupons do not scan at the market cash register. ********** Proof OF Purchase NO DATE We bought it last week. Sept. 12 and today is Sept. 17. 5 days and it is moldy. I am 79 years old and could have gotten really ill. YOU MUST HAVE A DATE.Business response

I purchased 2 loves of ******** Oatnut Bread - barcode * ***** ***** * - date stamped 12/03/2021. I contacted Consumer Affairs by email on 12/20/2021. No one responded to me. I called ###-###-#### on 01/03/2022 and a person told me that they received my email but hadn't got a chance to respond yet. That person told me that they needed pictures of the infected product and wanted me to attached picture. I received their email and attached picture of the rodent feces infected bread on 01/09/2022. I have not heard from the company since. I was told that they would send me coupons to compensate me for the cost of the two infected loaves. As of today, 03/12/2022, I have not heard anything from them. I paid more than $4.00 each loaf and they don't have the decency to compensate me for the rodent feces infected bread that they sold me. I could have become seriously ill if I had eaten it and not noticed the feces on the bread. How many consumers didn't notice the feces and ate the bread? I will never know but ******** Bakery/Bimbo should be ashamed of itself. At the very least, they should not have ignored me. Since 02/01/2022, I've decided to no longer purchase any Arnold's Bread products ever again.Business response

A conversation with *** ****** was conducted on Monday, March 21, 2022 in regards to her complaint and the lack of response to her inquiries. I apologized for the lack of response and explained in more detail the process that should have occurred in resolving the issue she experienced with the ****** bread purchase. I did inquire about the email she received to respond with photos and our using that same email address to send her a *** label so everything could be returned for analysis. She received one email but not the other.
We ended our conversation with her accepting a gift card for the inconvenience and trouble.
