On January 5 I gave a ******* check and on February 4th I gave a ******* check for ******************* to complete Drywall in my garage. He stated that they would come back in 1 week. Feb 23 he states his phone was broke since I was trying to reach him and would be there in a week. On March 11 he sent a text they would be coming to complete soon. On March 20 he stated it wouldn't be more than 1-2 weeks. On March 28, he tells me they have to start a bigger job before. I then state I want to cancel he states he okay will return my check at some time. He is not answering any of my calls or text removed the voicemail message and has not returned my money. Also, he never cleaned up debris from the other part of the job that he did perform.Initial Complaint

I hired this company to remodel my kitchen. Most of the work was performed by a second gentleman who arrived every day at 9:00. Dave's arrival was random, and daily he would go to Home Depot and buy supplies with my credit card, some of which I believe he has kept for personal use, but that is not part of my complaint. My complaint is that when I made my next to the last payment of $2600 as outlined on the attached invoice, I paid the entire balance off of $4924. At that point, there were some additional things that could be completed, but the plan was to return 4-11 after counter top installation 4-8-22 to finish all the work. Contact attempts starting approximately 4-4-22 as also outlined on my attachments have all received zero response. I have made alternate arrangements to have my work finished, but I want money back for work not completed. Based on how I have now been treated and knowledge that has come to light of a criminal history, I do not want him back in my house, just my money. Remaining to be finished: Flooring in powder room and reinstall toilet. Penny tile backplash installation. Hook plumbing to kitchen sink and install garbage dispoal and faucet. Build out bulkhead. Paint and install baseboards. Install thresholds/trim in four doorways. Required bracing not installed on range. Dishwasher is installed crooked and needs adjusted. Installation of tray device in corner cupboard and install door. Finish cabinet trim work and toe kicks. Install spacer to left of sink base cabinet. I treated this company very fairly buying lunch several days, giving him a very nice Keurig coffeemaker I was replacing, offering my old fridge which he was going to take if he ever came back, having all items procured and in place allowing work completion without interruption. I am requesting reimbursement of payments as noted below. NOTE: NEW PHONE # ON COMPANY FB PAGE EFF 4-15: 412-652-4770. They state on Facebook that they are BBB A+ rated...Initial Complaint

This contractor was hired, paid in advance, and has vanished. Only completed about 50% of the work and has about 90% of our money. I have texted him daily and no reply in weeks.
