Purchased a "Fire Table" (gas fire pit) on 4/26/23 Delivered on 5/16/23 First time using it there were issues: 1) The spark would not ignite the gas so I used a long lighter to start it. 2) Most importantly The flames were very aggressive about 8"-10" high so I turned the gas down a bit. Shortly after that there was a minor explosion which was strong enough to blow the door off the based of the fire table and flames were now coming out of several places of the table. They were coming out of the side and underneath. i turned off the gas at the table which did not stop the flames so I turned the valve off of the propane tank. The flames stopped shortly afterwards but I had to put out some of the residual flames out after the gas stopped flowing. i called the company the next day 5/17 and spoke to *******(?) the lady who sold us the table. She said to call ***** (one who delivered the table and husband of the owner). I called and left him a message. On 5/18 when I did not hear back I called the shop. ******* answered and said she would call ***** and get back to me. On 5/19 when I did not hear back I called both the Shop and ***** and left messages. On 5/20 I called both the shop and ***** and left messages. On 5/21 I left a message on their "contact us" portion of their website on 5/21. as of 5/31 I have still not heard back from anyone at the company and we are stuck with a fire table that we are afraid to use for fear of it exploding again possibly with a worse result than the first time. The price we paid for the Fire Table was $1272. Since there has been Zero Response from A Lane Living at this point we would like out money back for the defective table. Had they been more responsive a different request might have been made.
