I paid $5500 for trucking school to get the proper training and license in order to become a CDL holder. After the 4week class room training we go to the driving yard to learn how to operate the truck. Which is where the issue arises they dnt have enough instructors or trucks to properly train the students to become successful CDL holders. Out of the 4 hours were there we only get maybe 15 minutes of in truck training because 20 students have to share 1 truck and 1 instructor. The rest of the 3 hours and 45 minutes were standing around waiting. And the instructor is not properly training us. Then they get mad at the students if we mess something up! Were all there to learn because we dnt know how to drive a commercial motor vehicle! And now they have a contract with ***** and they require their students to be done with the training in 4 weeks. I started before all of those students and paid out of my own pocket. And they all (2 groups) obtained their CDL before me and other students that were there longer. which is unfair because we should all have to follow the same rules and receive the same training. The secretary ms.*** is saying that the owner of the school wants those company guys done first because their under a contract So they are more important than a regular student like me. All I'm asking for is a 50% refund if not a full one so I can go to another school and receive the correct training. But ms *** is saying that I already completed 80 hours of in truck training so I'm not eligible for a refund and I'm sure i did not get 80 hours of in truck training! All she can do is ask the owner if she can do a refund and hes probably going to say no! This is going on my 3rd month in this school and I was under the impression that we would be finished in 4-8 weeks. This is malpractice and false advertising on the schools behalf Please help me resolve this refund issue in a timely manner.
