At the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020, I registered electronically at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's website, hoping to get a PCR-based COVID-19 test. It turned out, after many phone calls, that Jefferson only provided such tests to patients who were already under care by its physicians, and it did not even accept new patients with the type of health insurance I had. Months passed, suddenly I started getting intermittent emails from Jefferson, such as the ones attached with this complaint. Each email includes an unsubscription link at the bottom. I have clicked on such links no less than a half dozen times, stepping through the resulting pages to remove myself from ALL future email communications from Jefferson. Yet, YEARS later, I'm still getting bombarded by such Jefferson spam, even though it doesn't provide care to me.
