Bought a $100 gift card for my niece. Her mom told me it expires at the end of this month!! So she has 2 weeks to use her gift card?! I hope its even usable after what I am reading here!Gift Card Granny Response

Hi ***** Gift Cards Purchased with us expire after 7 years. The recipient is potentially reading the date wrong - it is on the card as MM/YY. If it has in fact expired or they having any problems using it please do reach out to us at *********************************** It is advisable to provide the *** which is located on the back of the card as an 8 digit alpha numeric code.Review from Meg M

Don't waste your time, just send cash. If anything goes wrong, they make excuses, unnecessary changes, and then tell you you're stuck with it/ it's your problem (even when gift card is unusable). Is all that hassle worth the $5 reward they dangle? No. You're making them loads of money and it takes you hundreds of dollars spent to see money back with their reward system.Gift Card Granny Response

Gen Z Customer Serve! Here's my chain of crappy events: The issue: "ACTION REQUIRED You must verify the code sent to your phone number before your gift card order can be delivered." I entered a land-line phone number when checking out. 1. Customer Service phone number is laughable. The message says, at some point, "If you want to speak/chat with a live agent, go online" - USELESS. 2. Robot chat that goes in circles - never a true person. I typed "live agent" three time, twice being rebutted and requesting I choose a topic. Then finally, the third time, I was asked by the robot for my contact information, SO THEY CAN SEND A SUPPORT EMAIL. I'm not making this up... 3. Email received from support(at)giftcardgranny.zendesk.com, "Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff. To add additional comments, reply to this email. Here are some great articles that may help:" - More articles that don't apply, and more none verbal requests to communicate. Eventually after an hour+ of educating myself on GCG website, calling and listening to loops that lead nowhere, Chatting with no one, and then finally emailing my issue to eventually a person (initial email was a robot as well), my simple issue of was resolved.

I recently went to use my gift card, which was a gift from my aunt. The card declined even though I hadnt used it yet. When I looked at transaction history, it said Card balance cleared by Partner and the amount was removed from the card. I called customer service and they said they cant tell me what happened due to risk/compliance reasons. They issued a refund to my aunts credit card, which is frustrating because now its on her to buy me a new card? They refused to send me, the recipient a new card. I think someone from their company is taking money off of cards that they think no one is using.Gift Card Granny Response

Terrible experience with this website and customer service. I placed an order on 2/24/2024 to buy an virtual gift card using guest checkout. The charge was authorized by my credit card issuer. Then the order was canceled by giftcardgranny without reason. I call the customer service phone number, only the voice system was available to tell me if the order was canceled, nothing can be done. On 3/2/2024, I signed up an account at giftcardgranny.com to buy a physical gift card to thank someone. After clicking Place your order, the webpage printed error saying "Your account information has been reviewed and we are not able to accept new orders from your account or it's associated information going forward." I call the customer service phone number again, no human but the voice system speak in a endless loop. GiftcardGranny, if you abuse your customers and no customer care, then you will get customer feedback in customer review rating.Gift Card Granny Response

This website is a scam. I was gifted a $50 gift card by a relative. My relative could see that I hadn't claimed my card yet and when I went to open the email and claim my card, there were fraudulent charges made and there was nothing left. I tried contacting customer support and they told me that there was nothing they could do even though the "e gift card" was used before I even received it. This card was issued and activated 02/21/2023, it was accessed and used the same day. We have no control on who has access to the cards but we are able to verify where transactions were made and that the card was sent to the correct email. Email fraud and account assumptions are prevalent and if not already done, we suggest changing passwords etc on the account. It's essential to understand that gift cards differ from credit cards. They function more like cash and are entirely under the control of the person possessing the card number. Due to this cash-like nature, there is no mechanism for 'disputing' or 'charging back' a purchase made with a gift ******* is strongly advised to use gift cards exclusively with known and trusted merchants. To request a refund for an unauthorized transaction, please reach out to the merchant where the purchase was made.Review from Tom A

This is a fraudulent company. I ordered a gift card for my brothers birthday and he never received it and it still shows as in transit. I tried to call their phone number and is a BS number that says congratulations, you pressed star. This doesnt mean you are a star, only that you pressed star and it repeats this over and over again. I tried their chat option and it keeps you in a circle and asks you the same questions over and over. This site needs to be closed down.Gift Card Granny Response

This is a scam. I activated my card, and it shows that I have a $50 balance, but it has been declined by every merchant I have taken it to. *******. ******. Several restaurants. Their customer service is not helpful at all. They said the ******* cashier did something wrong.
