Someone sent me a gift card with it recently for chipotle and I linked it to my debit card and it worked great.

It's not very good. Instruction are not clear and they have no warnings about what happens if a merchant is out of business. They should not allow those gifts on their site. I was given a gift for Logans roadhouse. I selected to recieve it on e card. I then found out there Logans was no longer open in my area. The closest one was 300 miles away. But I could not change it and the lifter could not get a refund because I chose e card. There was no mention of not being able to change it. Also their merchants are not up to date. Pull up Amarillo tx restruants and it only shows one. There are alot more than that. You have to pull up national to get what is in ********. They scam customers so beware. I will not recommend or ever use Gifta again. I lost my chrismas bonus because of them.GiftYa Response

Received a DoorDash gift card from work through GiftYa. Went to redeem it and it wants me to link my credit card which I found to be odd. Tried to send it directly to my account through Zelle but there is a $3.99 fee to do so. Chose the eGift option to get a regular gift card code through DoorDash but "it takes up to 24 hours to process". ********** and trash company. They try to entice you to link your credit card by giving you "a $10 bonus". When you don't comply with their preferred method they charge fees or impose an arbitrary wait time for you to get your gift card purely to discourage you from using the other options. DO NOT SEND A GIFT CARD THROUGH THIS COMPANY.GiftYa Response

I bought this Roblox card for my little brother and weve spent the whole day trying to figure out how to redeem it. The fact that I have to pay process fee and I didnt get it. its should be easy. Send it and give me the freaking code. Now Ive lost 7 dollars and my little brother couldnt have a nice small gift. I cant even reach out to you guys and get help. Thank you for wasting my time and money. For better communication, let me know what to do to get my 7 dollars back or redeem the card.GiftYa Response

Hi Meg. We are sorry for any poor experience. Card linking is a technology similar to venmo and this form of redemption ensures a recipient does not lose their gift card, a gift card is used to its fullest, the gift never expires and most importantly its safe from theft or fraud. We also add an additional $10 incentive to first time card linked gifts. We appreciate that not all our clients will want to link a card so there are other redemption options offered. No reasonable way to contact them by phone. Entire business is bot based auto answers. They take money and cancel your order without reasonable explanation leaving both you and recipient shocked and disappointed. Lacking company without a responsible leader and very pompous attitudes. In some cases certain accounts may be restricted from ordering but we will review your feedback directly with our compliance team to see where we can improve this process. Yeah, this company is a huge scam. Nice try, "****** *." I only got sucked into their scheme because my mom fell for using them to send what she thought was a DoorDash giftcard to her friend. Her friend didn't want to use it because they want your bank account info to sell, or something? So my mom wanted to get the money back to use for herself, then discovered what a major scam this company is, so she transferred it to me so that I could Zelle myself the money... for a $3.99 fee. Basically my mom gave them $35 to get $31.01 back. (maybe... the money has not come through yet.) GiftYa seems to give you the gift balance immediately ONLY IF you give them your bank card info, but then offer a handful of other "outs" with a fee and/or waiting period. I enjoy how desperate their damage control is on this site. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, but you're probably reading this after they've already screwed you over. Dear Giftya: assuming the $31.01 comes through Zelle, my mom would like her $3.99 back, too.GiftYa Response

I have used this company a few times to send people gift cards. I really like the idea, plus it's linked to your debit card so you don't have to worry about keeping a ton of gift cards.. I haven't had any issues with this company after using them 5-6 times.people were complaining about them needing a cc number, but that's the whole point of this gift card company. Every company sells your information!! get over it and use the gift card your grandma sent you for your bdayGiftYa Response
