  Had front porch remodeled to a deck and siding. The project was in 2020 with many delays and the end of October. I was told it was too cold to stain steps at that time and to call as soon as weather hits above 60 degrees consistently in the spring of 2021. I called roughly once a month from spring to fall. Was told they would get to it. By beginning your fall I was told painter had heart attack and he would be back in a few weeks. Painter called I sent him picture of small side pocket of steps that needed stained. Also left piece of siding on porch so he could get accurate stain color. Several weeks go by and weather gets too cold to stain. I reached out again this spring 2022 and was told painter would call. Was told to call back if no contact. I did call back and was told to hold while contact is made to painter. Was then told again they would contact me. It is now several weeks later and I called again and get an answering service that said they would relay message. I have been extremely patient because some of they Covid related delays as well as health issues of their workers. But it is coming up on 2 years and a simple staining is not completed. I paid over $1400 for this project and all I want is it to be completed.

  I’ve hired David ******** from Exceptional exterior and renovation Inc to come and install vinyl soffits around the window and gutter box outside of the third-floor window. The charge was 2700 -$200 to put his sign in my front yard. That was never put there. The work was done the outside looks good but the gutter box when they put the cover on it they stopped in the middle of the league of the gutter box so when it rains it hits the top of the gutter box and the rain is running behind the vinyl down the front of the house eating up the mortar from the bricks. The reason I didn’t notice it sooner because I was never sitting in the living room when it was raining to hear the rain falling on the second floor roof and look out the window to see how it was running from behind the facial that they put up. I called David and ask him if he could have someone come and seal around the edges where they stopped the vinyl because it should’ve at least went all the way over the edge and dropped into the gutter box so that the rain that hit that top of the gutter box would run in the gutter and not under the vinyl. David gave me a number to somebody else to have them come out to see how much they would charge me to do that. I should not have to pay twice to have a job completed that I paid for. In the photo the white is the vinyl David had put up and the red is the gutter box.

  We contracted with ** ***** on 3-11-2020. We were to do a small job of siding, soffit and fascia. We did not have anything to do with her box gutters. I feel it is fair for us to be paid for additional work that was not contracted. That being said, I will send someone over to remedy the situation when the weather permits.
