Richard's Superior Remodeling was hired to do roof work by a neighbor who recently brought property adjacent to mine but does not live there. The property they did work on was *** ******** *** ********** ** ***** and I live on *** ******** *** ********** ** ****** In between our properties is an empty lot that we rent from the city. When Richard's people were doing work, they were throwing a lot of debris from the roof onto that lot. We came over and spoke with them, let them know that the lot was ours, and gave them permission to continue using it as long as they cleaned up afterwards. This was on or around May 4th. They assured us that they would clean everything up after. They did not. I reached out multiple times to try and resolve this amicably but they have still not cleaned it up, and instead insist that the owner's of that property were responsible for cleaning up their debris, which doesn't make much sense to me. I have no way of contacting the property owner themselves to verify that this is the case as they will not give me their contact information and the owners do not live at the property.Business response

So we did that roof. And we sorry for all the inconvenience and how it turns out. The agreement between us and the homeowner is that she gonna have her guys do the clean up. However day after that job the neighbor called us saying the garbage is still there so I call the homeowner to find out why it’s still there. She said to tell them it’s her responsibility and she is in the process of cleaning it. But she didn’t want the neighbor to have her number. So we didn’t provided it. So the neighbor me warn me that she will report us if she don’t get the homeowner number. So we told the homeowner all of this and we thought it was resolved. Until we saw the complaint.Customer response
