I contacted H333330323832**353036H H32323837**3738383633H to replace my driveway. On August 31, 2023 I paid a down payment of $3400, He was to start the job on September 5, 2023. He didn&#**;t show up and I&#**;ve been calling him and all I&#**;ve gotten is excuses.Initial Complaint

Paid $3,300.00 to John D******* on 9/1/22 to complete steps and a driveway. Date of completion to be 9/7/22. On 9/2/22, steps and part of driveway torn out (approx 1 hour of work). He cracked the garage threshold and the bottom step of the upper set of steps. We had to cut the railing in order to pour a new step and now need railing replaced, which will cost $1,855.00. He returned with workers on 9/7/22 for approximately 8 hours. Forms for the steps were built but did not reach the driveway. Watched the workers lay in their car. He returned on 9/8/22 and continued work on the forms so steps would reach the driveway. Forms were not level and not properly completed. They fell apart just by touching them. On 9/8/22 at 6:27 PM, gave notice to terminate his services. We requested our down payment be returned as nothing had been completed. He refused. He left a pile of cement on a parking pad and did not return to clean it up. He chipped part of the retaining wall and broke a driveway light. Total down payment and replacement is new railing is $5,155.00.
