In the first picture you will see that mercer county behavioral health paid his first month and security deposit. the next 4 pictures are of his lease. 1 year lease started 10/1/23 ends on 9/30/24. item #5 security deposit:   security deposit will not be returned if tenant breaks the lease. Moving from the unit breaks the lease. Also this person casey steele is posting negative thing on my business pages. Hired to replace my ceiling and install LED canless lights. The project was completed late in the evening and I paid them in full. I noticed then that there was a dark ring where the cover met the ceiling which I assumed was a shadow. The next day it showed it was a gap between the cover and the ceiling. I texted the owner and drywaller several times to come and fix it. Those went mostly unreturned and still haven’t been fixed 6 weeks later. I reached out to a union electrician who looked to see why they weren’t adhering to the ceiling flush like they should and he informed me that they also were not properly wired since the wire wasn’t in all the way and exposed in 4 of the 6 lights.

As per the can lights, They were all installed and check by owner before we left, Customer was very happy. Customer wanted to paint the ceiling himself, he did call and say that he removed the lights to paint the ceiling, upon his re installation he could not get them to sit right. I could not come out asap to assist in fixing this.. He was only worried about his house electrical issues in that call that we did not work on. He wanted me to come out and assist in fixing another electrical issue about his internet router and outlets/grounds. however we could not at that time do to other jobs scheduled.  The lights come with a warrant from the company they were bough from, if there is a issue with the light itself then they will replace free of cost! Your pictures look like you pulled the wires out of the fixture when you pulled them from the ceiling maybe 2cm. Im including pictures from when we installed them. I would like to see the bill/estimate from the electrician that your asking me to pay for repairs?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16808993, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

His statements are incorrect. I left for Florida 5 days later and was going to be gone for 3 weeks. He was aware of this because he said he would come back in a few days to bring the furniture back in from the garage where he placed it, since I needed a few days to let the paint dry so when I tore up the carpeting, it wouldn’t ruin the fresh paint. I messaged him and called him several times pleading with him to come back and do what he promised and I really needed to have my furniture placed back in the house, which he also failed to do reminding him I was time-bound since I was leaving shortly and the impending snow storm that was going to hit that weekend. This placed a huge burden on me due to my bad back as it was heavy, awkward, large, expensive, three-piece sectional that had to navigated through a small doorway.

I personally never pulled the can lights down but only tried to push them up but that didn’t work. When I was in Florida, I texted the drywaller Amy, and said I had been texting Lester and not receiving any responses. She said she would talk to him and that maybe the insulation was in the way pushing them down. Therefore that didn’t happen until a certified union electrician looked to see why the lights had the gap and didn’t respond to him either pushing up on them like I tried to do. It was only then that the lights were pulled down by him to see why it wouldn’t stay flush to the ceiling. He is the one who told me that they were not wired correctly and pointed out that the wire should not be seen. This was the case with 4 of the 6 lights. He said the other two only had one wire going into them and not two so it fit in all the way. It is ludicrous to suggest that it was done on purpose.

In addition, Beighley is the one who purchased and installed the lights and should have noticed immediately they were not flush. As I previously stated I did notice the gap but because it was dark outside and the lights were on I thought it was a shadow as I have never had canless LED lights before. It was not until the day when the sun was out and the lights were off that I saw it wasn’t a shadow.

Lastly, it’s also incorrect that I initially pulled them down to paint as I didn’t have time before I left for Florida and the ceiling still hasn’t been painted. My roommate can testify to all that I am saying is true because I frequently asked her while I was gone if the lights had been fixed yet or if he fixed the wiring problem that Spectrum pointed out. The technician did speak to Lester and told him what his meter said and that the wiring that was installed used the cable as its ground. That issue as well has never been addressed as I frequently touched base with the technician while I was gone asking him if knew it had been corrected.

      Regards,
