I purchased a top round roast on May 18, 2024 at the ****** store. It looked like a nice cut of meat, but when I unwrapped it and turned it over, about 90% was nothing but fat and gristle. I have sent a complaint to **** and they have not responded. My complaint is not about getting a refund, as I was not able to return it. My complaint is that piece of meat should have never been wrapped and put up for sale as a top round roast. This was diffidently a bait and switch. Weis markets should have better standards. On July 4 ,2023, I shopped the Weis Market on Cumberland Street, Lebanon. There was an ad covering about a month in the shopping cart and I picked up a different weekly ad. The monthly ad listed St Louis ribs at $2.99/ lb the weekly ad listed the same ribs at $6.99/lb buy one get two free. There was only two packages available. I went to the service counter and and told that the $2.99 did not apply. I could not buy one package for that price. I returned on Wednesday July 5 I went the store to buy three ( buy one get two free) but none were available. I went the service counter and I was told " We don't do rain checks anymore". This is the classic bait and switch.Review from Megan R.

I tried to return Christmas lights and was told there is a new policy of no returns at montoursville. I called muncy Weis 3:30 pm on 1/10/23 and asked if they are able to take returns with a receipt. The customer service representative said “what, are you trying to return a piece of bad meat?” I worked in customer service for 10 years in Philly - I never would speak to anyone that way. I guess I’m stuck with $20 worth of Christmas light NIB. But on a good note at least I will never have to deal with Weis again because I will not shop there again because of how they treat customers .Weis Markets Inc Response

Hello Megan, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. While we do have a no return policy, the associate could have and should have approached it in a better manner. I am a regular customer at weis markets store#228,On 03/23/2022, When I check out, the cashier made a mistake on my credit card. I went to the customer service to ask the staff to help me to solve the problem. The name she gave me is Lashenda, She told me that she couldn’t help me to fix this mistake here, and said it was my fault. then I said I was sorry to that I had to return all the items and check out again.but she still said I can not return it too. I thought I was hearing it wrong. I believed she could help me, but she just doesn’t want to. I also believe that all customers have the right to fix their problems.I do believe if I were an American, she will not say anything and just take my items to help me to fix all the problems. Is it because I am Asian? Is it because I use a low-income WIC card to purchase my items? Is it because my English is not good as American? I think I have the right to have a WIC program because I am a mother of two kids. I was stressed, I felt she was discriminating against me and I was deeply ashamed.I try to asked for the manager, she disrespectfully told me “ the current manager had already left” and asked me to come back tomorrow”. I was so mad, it wasn’t my fault, it was your cashier who made a mistake on my purchase. I'm so humiliated.The next day, I went to another Weis location and they were so kind enough to help me out.Sometimes it wasn’t because the items can return or cannot, it was because of how the staff is communicated with you.Review from Amy L

I tried to return two light bulbs I bought just 5 hours ago. The store said they changed return policy. I told the clerk there was no signs on any of the shelves. The manager came and pointed to a frame on the back wall with small prints. I tried to explain to her that I would never have thought of always come to check on policy changes every time I shop, and, due to aging, I certainly could not read those signs. Before I could finish my sentence, she accused me "yelling" at her. I was stuned and did not know how to respond ot that. I am a Asian women and this is my first time encounter this kind of racist treatment. I will never shop at any Weis anymore. Their practice is bordline deceiving, and the racist behavior is too much to swallow.Weis Markets Inc Response

Hello Amy, I sincerely apologize for the experience you had while attempting to return light bulbs. We do currently have a no return/exchange policy. While this was a temporary policy at the height of covid-19, it was made permanent on June 24, 2021 to halt fraudulent returns. We did provide signage at the registers and on the entrances/exits when this was made permanent. For the past 13 years when Weis took over the ***** there has been nothing but negativity at store #220 on ************ *** in Binghamton New York Employees treating customers horribly and when you complain they get together lie and make reports against you/Racism threats of physical violence be grading you sexually harassing people drugs etc. it has too stop cause know one at Weis in Pa has dealt with any of the complaints or helped there customers all Weis Wants is your money Do Not Shop At Weis If You Value Your Health And Sanity If I could leave a -negative 1000 stars I wouldWeis Markets Inc Response
