Last December we had an issue of noise from our plumbing system. We contacted Battavio who sent a technician on December 29 2021. The technician wasn't sure what was the problem - he claimed it was the water heater, then it was the well pump then the water heater and the well pump. The technician left after an hour, came back and could not explain the problem and how he was going to solve it. He promised the office will call us to discuss further actions to diagnose the problem. We did not hear back and contacted another plumbing company who came diagnosed the issue and fixed it. It was a leak from the well pump hose. Suddenly we received in July a demand to pay $500 for the unsuccessful technician visit. We contacted Battavio's office but they refused to hear us. We believe their charges are excessive. We are willing to pay for the visit but it is not worth $500 especially when the technician did not diagnose the problem and did nothing to fix it. We paid $500 to the plumber that actually solved the problem.Business response

This is in response to complaint #********
Our company was contacted to perform plumbing services in December 2021 by the client. We learned during our year-end close with Accounting, that this invoice was never completed and billed at the time of service thus resulting in a delayed delivery of the invoice to the client. We have record of the invoice being emailed on 5/11/2022, 7/16/2022 and 8/30/2022 where it shows that all invoices were opened and viewed by the client. The first record of contact we have with the client was on 8/30/2022 where we received a phone call, followed by an email reply stating they would be disputing the invoice. After receiving this information, our collections team notified management and reductions to the invoice were approved. An explanation for the delayed initial invoice as well as an updated invoice reflecting the reductions was email to the customer today 9/12/2022.
