On 3/13/03 I purchased replacemwnt windows from Window World for the amount of $2,780 with a lifetime warranty. I was told by the salesman *********************** that if I ever moved this warranty could be transferred to the new owner for a transfee for the amount of $50. My house has now been sold and the new owner wishes to purchase the warranty. Upon notifying window world I was told the agreement of $50 no no longer the fee. I would now be $150. How is it possible that this company get away with breaking such agreement without written notice to its customer. I tried to contact *********************** but he refuses to speak to me. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has come across this.This company doesn't stand behind their warranty and this matter certainly needs to be addressed. I have all origional documents referring to this matter if needed. Oh by the way the customer service needs replaced also. Thank youBusiness response

Good Morning,
************ contacted our offices on 3/28 regarding the possibility of transferring her warranty as she was selling her home. ************ advised she was told the fee to transfer was $50, we explained that it is $150 at this time. We requested a copy of contract and/or warranty for review, to seek manager approval. ************ advised she did not have the documents at that time, she became very escalated, and disconnected the call.
The customer contacted our offices again, and requested to speak to the manager, he was not in the office at the time, the customer became escalated again and disconnected the call.
The manager reviewed her account on 4/4 and agreed to honor the $50 transfer fee.
************ was contacted by our offices the same day and she was made aware the fee would be honored and noted for when the new owners called.Thank you,
