This is a follow up on a non-resolved BBB complaint. After several years of non-communication, the owner of this business responded to a BBB complaint stating that within 30 days, she planned to have access to the storage unit she is holding customer ************************** items in and make their items available for return. This communication was in November, 2023. As of June 4, 2024, no contact or progress has been made.Initial Complaint

This company was holding several items on consignment when they shut down their storefront but advised publicly that they would be creating an online presence. I have tried to get in touch with the owner to receive my items and/or payment back several times (9/11/22 Store Phone Number (disconnected), 10/17/22 store's ******** Messenger , 11/9/22 owner's Personal ******** Messenger, 6/27/23 store email, 7/27/23 owner's home phone number, 9/13/23 owner's home phone number, and I have not had any calls/emails/messages returned.Business response

I had to close my business per my landlord and had to put everything in a storage unit. The storage unit I have all the boxes in, won't allow me to go in a pick and choose what I take out. It has to be all taken out at the same time. The unit has 80 - 90 boxes in it, for over 1,000,00 of my customers.
I am trying to get a large storage container to put on my property, but it's very expensive. I hope to have it on my property within 30 days. Then I will move everything out of the present storage unit and move it to the larger unit and go through and get items to the owners that consigned them with me.
*******************, but I intend on getting back every item to everyone of my customers.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
I will be happy to accept the business resolution provided it actually happens. There have been multiple attempts at contact and opportunities for the owner to communicate over the last year and the only response came after a BBB complaint, with only promises of future resolution. I do not wish to close out the complaint until I see positive action.
Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

On July 1, 2021 I entered into an agreement with ***************************** owner of Equine Consign llc ************************************************************************* to sell my items at her store and on her on-line website and ******** page. The items I put on consignment were in excellent condition and totaled approximately ********. The business agreed to sell my items and Agreed that I could pick up any unsold items. To date, I have not received any money from this business and ***** is not returning my phone calls or messages I have sent to her on ********. The business and owner has blatantly disregarded my attempts to contact them so I can get paid for items sold and pick up any unsold items. In addition, on June 12, 2022, I called the phone number associated with ***** Sylvanders residence (as the business number is no longer working) and the individual on the phone used profanity, told me my items were in storage and hung up on me. I am concerned about the hostile nature of this business enterprise and I want to recover my items and money owed to me. In addition, the consumer must be made aware of the disreputable nature of the owner and their business practices. In no way should the Better Business Bureau associate this business or owner with an A+ rating. My customer number is ********.Business response

Customer was called, She wanted her saddle back. It was delivered to her parents home 6.20.22. her parents came home when I was dropping Item off and acknowledged receipt of item.
