I have utilized their rental service many times over the past three years, In May, I rented the vehicle and had the vehicle for about three weeks. I went in and made a payment on a Friday. They literally shut the vehicle off and The business was closed all weekend. I initially thought the battery died and paid for *** to come give me a jump as well as check the starter which it was neither because unlimited had turned the car off. I made a payment to have the vehicle for four days. I gave them $200. They refused to refund my money and extend the rental and while I was at the hospital with my daughter having her cast replaced, they called me and demanded I leave the keys in the car or they were calling the police when they have GPS and could see my location. They left me stranded at a hospital with a five year-old who had a broken arm when I had already paid for the vehicle. They continued to hang up on me when I would call, Literally pick up the phone and hang it back up. I called from my office phone, which they answered and as soon as they heard, my voice hung up again. A Hispanic girl works in the office who is beyond inappropriate, and extremely juvenile. The fact that they are a cash only rental place says enough, They feel they can treat you like scum because youre in a bind. This place is a joke as well as their employees, Except for the women who work upfront, they are decent, although they were also very rude to me during this whole ordeal. I understand they also have families, But what they did was took $200 for me and my three children.Business response

To Whom It May Concern:I am a bit confused by this complaint as the date was last May and it is now November. The customer who filed the complaint stated she paid $200 for 4 days. I have her file and on June 5th, she paid $80. The rental price is $50 per day, so $80 does not cover 2 days, let alone four. We gave the customer the benefit of the doubt and gave her some time to come in and make payment. Unfortunately, payment was never made and we had to take the car from the customer on June 11th. This was the second time this has happened with this customer. We cannot let customers stay in the ********************** without payment. When there are outstanding circumstances, we do work with the customer to make payment, unfortunately, there was no effort to do so on the part of the renter. When a customer angrily calls the office over and over, using foul language, we will not entertain that type of behavior. Also, we do not have any Hispanic employees in the office so I am not sure who the customer is referring to. We also have GPS in every vehicle and can see at any given moment where the rental is. At the time the vehicle was taken back, it was at a private home, not a hospital. We would be happy to discuss this matter further to clear up all these inconsistencies.Thank you and Best Regards,--**** *******Office ManagerUnlimited Car Rental, Inc.
