I have had an issue with a refrigerator for over six months. I had a warranty plan on it through ****'s, but it fell under the manufacturer's warranty because it was within a year of purchase. ******* sent out a service provider to repair it rather quickly. However, when the individual, Daniel C***, arrived, he was very frustrated because I lived nearly two hours from him. Upon entering the home, he was insulting and then began to "rip" pieces of the freezer lining out. Several of the screws in the back are stripped out from the disregard for my belongings, only to show me what the inside looks like behind the coils. Because the Unit was off, he said there was no cooling issue when he turned it back on. However, later that evening, it began to act up again. The filter froze on it several days later, and water flooded my kitchen. There is damage that I will have to repair when I manage to find the extra time. I a full-time student working on my MBA at the *******, and also, I'm a disabled Vet/ small business owner so you can imagine. The issue started in the spring and has not gotten better. Because my mother's insulin was ruined twice, I can't put things in it with confidence. The second time the provider was scheduled, about three weeks later, Daniel C*** got lost on the way to the house. He put the wrong address in because I live about 30 miles from an identical address in Ellabell, GA, off Highway 280. Daniel C*** called to see where I was because he stated he was in my driveway. I told him I was also standing in my driveway, so it was impossible. That is when I realized the error that had happened, and when I shared it with him, he began to get upset with me and yelled a lot. When I explained the issue that I was having and that I was sorry for his error, I still had a broken refrigerator that was not working... I also shared that he had been to my house before and got frustrated again because he said I was too far out. He then began to say that he would be ordering a part from ******* and there was no need to come to the house because he didn't have the right part at his shop. I felt that it was just a way of him trying to kick the can down the road. Which for me meant no cold food indoors still. It's ludicrous that this is the individual they continued to send out even after I complained directly to *******. However, they continued to say that I was the only service in my area. Daniel C*** continually has canceled my repair appointments. Today was the 3rd time he was a no-show on 12/1/23. He has been doing this since October, and it is no longer under the manufacturer's warranty. ******* has said it is no longer their problem. However, my appointment today was not set up by ******* but by ****'s... He is the only service provider in the area, and now I'm stuck. I've had hundreds of dollars in food spoilage and over a thousand in medical insulin for my mother. I've had to go out and buy a new refrigerator so that I can keep milk and insulin cold. I paid 1500 for a refrigerator that only worked for 4-5 months. Bene Technologies should not be al****d to do business for ******* or ****s, and honestly, I wish there were a way to make him pay for the sheer stress I've had to deal with. Bene Technology is used by ******* to fulfill service requests. We called ******* to have our refrigerated serviced because the ice machine was not working properly. A man came from Bene Technolgies on 7/23/2023 and ripped the mother board out of the back of our fridge, the entire fridge shut down and stopped working, and then he ran out of the house and told us to call *******. We have been without a fridge for 7 days now and their office manager is charging us $1000 to order a part and fix what they broke. On top of that we lost a minimum of $1000 worth of items in the fridge and freezer. This company is corrupt and needs to be closed.Initial Complaint

Late October 2022, I called ******* to report my double oven had stopped working. They checked the warranty and informed that it was no longer under warranty. The oven was installed under by contractor under a new home build. They informed in they could setup an appointment with their certified contractor and that I would have to pay for the repairs. Early November 2022 *** services sent out a technician to identify the problem/issue with my oven cost of $150.00. During the course of six visits it was determined the wiring harness was bad and needed to be replaced. The technician had ******* put the warranty back on entitling me to my 150.00 dollars back a little over 2 months of waiting to get my oven repaired ******* took off the warranty and stopping my refund. When I contact 1800******* they stated they had no record of the warranty being put back on and they *** would need to contact them. *** stated they cannot contact ******* on my behalf. I am in the middle trying to get my money back with no one contacting me from *** since 17 January and no help from *******. I should not have to justify getting back what is due to me the customer. Appointment was for 7 December, between 2-6 PM. In seeking updates on the technician's status within that window, voice mails and text messages went unanswered. Someone finally picked up at 6:20 PM, advising us the technician was on his way. The technician finally arrived at 6:40 PM and opened the door of the washer to be repaired, gave the tub a half-spin, and then proceeded to tell us it would be 1000+ USD of parts and labor, yet was unable to articulate how and why these specific parts were needed. He had very limited English proficiency, which severely limited his ability to provide a valid explanation or engage in any dialgue to explain his diagnosis. He instead began yelling at me, in front of my wife and children, claiming I was, "not smart enough to understand him". First, three parts were needed, then he changed his story and said the three parts were really two, but that they were definitely needed, then changed positions again, saying one was definite, and he was ordering the other, becasuse there was a "50/50 change" it would also need to be changed. He did not run the machine, did not open the rear of the machine, but claimed his 10 years of experience meant he "just knew". After proving incapable of giving a full and adequate diagnosis of the problem and growing frustrated at my questions, he stormed off, telling me to "do whatever", slamming my door and driving over my front lawn on the way out. Repeated messages left with the company went unanswered. No parts were ordered. Nothing was done to further the repair of the machine, though they are the ******* authorized service partner in the region, with no other authorized providers. We are now left to our own devices to find a provider on our own, as ******* has also proven unwilling and incapable of providing a viable path to a solution. The company has proven rude, disrespectful, incompetent, and unresponsive. They should not serve as a representative of any OEM.Business response

The last service request states you reported a specific set of symptoms including an error code which would indicate a balance issue, which is how a technician may be able to determine the parts needed prior to physical or wired diagnostic tests. Because the manufacturer’s warranty lasts one year from the purchase date, some parts and labor for this repair would not be covered by warranty. If we failed to receive payment we would be unable to order or replace parts; however, if you wish to proceed with a repair we would be happy to refer you to 1-800-******* to create a new service request that we will process once received.
