Envision Elegance results does not meet its branding standards. Ms. Jennifer G******, Envision Elegance Owner did not meet my expectations according to her claim of being a “business professional” for 25 years. I write this review with emotional damage that my wedding was not the wedding of my dreams because of Jennifer G****** and her team. Based on my experience and reviews from eyewitnesses from the wedding, Envision Elegance is categorized as: UNPROFESSIONAL- Jennifer G****** promised to remain within my budget PRIOR to viewing the venue and didn't. She was requested numerous times to provide a floor plan on how the tables should be set up for my approval and refused to do so. During this time, Ms. G****** made my wedding planner and I very weary of her actions. I spoke to Ms. G****** on my concerns of planning my wedding with all her “personal issues” in the way. She was requested to close the contract if she was unfit to take on this task. Ms. G****** claimed that she will be able to continue on this contract. During the morning of the wedding, she wasted 4 hours of decorating time which resulted to groomsmen photoshoot and wedding ceremony being delayed. Minutes AFTER the start time of my wedding, all guests were still waiting outside in the cold because Ms. G****** tardiness caused her to run out of time. So, Ms. G****** was enforced by my aunts (who were checking in guest) to let everyone in. Also, the dress code for her team was inappropriate for my wedding attire. In addition to this, Jennifer and her team did not have the head tables set up. During Cocktail hour, All 75+ guests witnessed them putting up our head tables which took over 45 minutes to complete. Witnesses stated that her team looked “lost” and “unaware” of what they were supposed to be doing. An hour and thirty minutes into my reception, Jennifer G****** and her team were already taking down the decorations without consent from my husband and I. Once the reception had ended and her team packed and left, Jennifer DID NOT APPROACH ME AT ALL for my feedback on her work. This was confirmation to me that Jennifer is NOT a woman of GOOD BUSINESS. DISHONEST- As provided in my contract, Jennifer and her team were given clear description on my expectations: Unfortunately, Ms. G****** breached the contract.Business response

Hello, thank you for the opportunity to explain what we have done for the Complaint.
Envision Elegance is a full event and design service with our own inventory.
We were introduced to the complaint by a website we are currently on suspension due to this complaint until an interview with them. ********* pro. Ms. **** contacted us through ********* less than 90 days before her wedding day. We sent per her request a quote of what we can offer her. Her budget was not our regular scale amount but we told her we would do our best to work with her budget and keep her within it using what we have available. Her theme was rustic which is not an inexpensive theme but we agreed. We discussed her guest of about 200 without the wedding party of 25. We downsized our quote to fit her budget and only charged her per table and not the custom centerpieces. Mrs. Hammond colors were of cinnamon and navy with ivory and gold. We began to purchase the table cloths in cinnamon which she was excited about. We scheduled appointments to meet and the first two I was unable to meet. They were during the hours that she was available and I had to rearrange our schedule to accommodate her which she at our first meeting was 2 hours late. Once viewing the venue she then let us know that she had a guest list of 265 and climbing, at this time we are already contracted for 27 guest tables for 216 people.not including the wedding party. We informed her that she will need additional tables which we are not contracted for and the additional would be a cost. 6 eight feet tables that would seat 48 additional which would change her total. She said she needed to speak with her coordinator which was fine, we gave her a total of $800 for the extra draping with the 6 guest tables and it was beyond her means.we also found out that the venue does not set up tables and chairs which we do not do unless it is included in our quote. Our quote may state the setup and breakdown that is our own inventory. Mrs. Hammond stated her wedding party would assist in doing so. We sent her an addendum for the tables and I decided to cover the poles for her at my own expense. The extra $300 was only for the extra tables which she could not afford but I wanted her day to be beautiful and complete. We were also told that we had Friday of the wedding to set up if we liked. Late Thursday we found out that we will not be permitted to set up in the morning because some of our team had rescheduled so they could be available to start which left us with two people to assist in setting up. Friday before the wedding we went to the venue to set up the floor plan and arrived just before 6pm no bride but her coordinator was on point. We proceeded to set the floor plan in place with help from others. 8 pm still no bride, she finally arrives at 8:15pm. We finished and tried to speak with her and the coordinator and she seemed weird. She wanted to be a bridezilla and I told her we do not entertain those attitudes. We finished and left about 11:30pm.We set out to leave early even though we all didn't have to, one of my drivers got a flat tire on the way so we had to go assist him. My team arrived at venue 10:45 to find that the work we did the night before had been demolished and extra tables were now on the floor. We were never late. I said we would be there at about 10 am . At this point we were trying to figure out how we could still make this work. The bride's mother was pleading with us to please let her pay for the extras tables. I in turn told her I really am not equipped to cover the extra but we will do our best. We went over and beyond for Mrs. Hammond to make sure we were still finished in a timely manner. The groom came and thanked us and was very pleased he loved everything. The bride's mother said the same thing and was very pleased. We were not the cause of her wedding starting late, it was because of her people she had in place to check people in through the seating chart she did not finish and they were trying to temperatures. As For photo shoot groomsmen that had nothing to do with us. Their backdrop which you will see in my pictures WAs what she wanted. They were not going to need anything else she did not want to take away for the natural beauty of the venue. She also stated the photographer was going to take pictures outside. We assisted with her cake table because the cake people just left the cake and I myself put it together for them. Mrs. Hammond ignored me the entire time there. I spoke with her briefly, telling her was a beautiful bride and we put the boxes for leftover cupcakes in the kitchen. We did a floor aisle with garland as we promised with beautiful tulle and we removed it only because her guests were tripping over it and we did not want any accidents or harm to her guest as they began to dance. The head tables were behind the draping and during the cocktail hour we proceeded to flip and put them in place. Again we did everything that was in our contract and that wasn't in there to make sure her Day was Beautiful and Momentous. It is very unfortunate that Mrs. Hammond decided at the time to try and be a bridezilla to her mother coordinator and husband. That she missed the blessings we provided for her. At the end of the night we had centerpieces broken and table linens destroyed but we never bothered her with any of it. Mrs. was not a good communicator. It would be days before she would respond to a text or call. Her coordinator said she would be happy to write a response letter on our behalf. We have been in this industry for over 25 years only a short time here in SC but we have never had this come to our desk. We understand we can't please everyone but will provide you the service. It really saddened my team and I. We were so excited about her day.I have attached pictures of what she did not submit.
I will be submitting other attachments. The last attachment is the floor plan she said she never received. pictures of how the floor plan would look will be in another email.Thank you for your time and understanding.Jeniifer G****** CEO
