I wish I could leave 0 stars. We took our car to fix one thing and First Class HALT on N. Pleasantburg messed up something else that was working fine. We have NEVER had any problems with our airbag lights and even when they ran the diagnostics it didn’t show up. They refused to take responsibility after keeping our car a week longer then promised. So now we lost $2500 and are still riding around with lights on. Very disappointed. Also they did a quote of all the stuff we needed to do on our car that had NO problems that totaled almost $10,000. After we got our car back with the airbag lights on that First Class HALT caused, we took it to a true repair place and took the quote with us. The honest repair shop that wasn't out just to rob their customers did a deep dive on our car and not only said that First Class HALT did cause the airbag lights (which we already knew since they have NEVER came on before we took it to them and as soon as we pulled out of their parking lot they IMMEDIATELY came on after they had our car 2 weeks) but the honest repair man said we needed $490 worth of repairs done. How in the world did we get a quote of $10,000 from HALT when we only needed $490 WORTH OF WORK DONE. You should be ashamed of yourselves. All we got from the owner was a bunch of excuses blaming us and saying it was a previous issue although they know it wasn't or it would have been another who knows how many thousands added on the $10,000 quote.

Mrs ****** *******  We have reached out to you recently to set up a time to go over the details of your vehicle's needed repair. I understand your perspective of the situation and that it developed after the repair of an unrelated system on the vehicle. The initial findings had information stored in the vehicle's onboard computers before any work had been performed which shows that we did not create a new problem. We take customer service very seriously and truly care about our customers. We have responded to your reviews on other platforms in regard to the service experience. If there is anything else you would like to discuss in this manner please feel free to call us in person at ***** ********  Sincerely, Thomas W****** General Manager First Class HALT, Inc. ***** ******** Greenville ***** ******** Cherrydale ***** ******** Anderson ***********************

Shame on you ******!!! You will do anything to try to "cover" for this and make it look like your business is not at fault. However, me and you both know it is. You are out to make as much money as you can and you screwed me over and messed something up to charge me more. You did respond to me on google to tell me how many 5 star reviews you have and that should speak to your customer service but I could not respond to you on there. It does not speak to the customer service you gave me AFTER you gave me my car back and we pulled out of your parking lot and 2 more lights from an unrelated issue we NEVER had came on. You can make up all the excuses in the world but we both know that you are in the wrong.

I went to Fist Class Halt on May 15th to have my brakes inspected on my 2017 Honda Odessy before a long road trip with my family. My brakes were making a clunking noise going over bumps. First Class said they inspected the brakes and everything checked out, except we needed new struts. 2 months later while driving back from a family vacation the top caliper bolts fell off my front brakes caliper causing my van to come to a complete stop in the middle of the interstate. The failure of First Class Halt to catch a simple loose bolt almost cost my family and my life. It is a miracle we survived. My brakes were still making the same noise even after First Class Halt said they inspected the brakes which tells me they did nothing more than look at them. The manager told me he is certain First Class Halt would have taken the calipers off for the full inspection I paid for. This simply didn't happen because once the bolt was eventually fixed (after the failure), the clunking noise stopped. The worst part is First Class Halt didnt even give me my $75 back from the inspection after I brought this to their attention. I am still in shock this happened. ***** **

***** Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am thankful to know that you and your family were not injured in this situation. It is our goal that every customer receives excellent service they can trust with every visit. I had the opportunity to speak with you about the situation before this review. We discussed that your vehicle had brake service by another shop in April, First Class HALT provided an inspection in May and then in July had multiple systems serviced by a different shop before your trip. During our conversation, we talked about the scope of work performed in July and what influence it had going forward. You expressed that you were waiting for a follow-up from your recent service provider to address the incident. I hope that your communications with the facility that performed your most recent work have been open to a resolution with you. If there is anything we can assist with please do not hesitate to contact me. Thomas W****** General Manager ************

This is just simply not true. I checked with the other mechanic and they did not touch my brakes when they replaced my struts. You said you were going to provide me with the scope of work for strut repair on my car and you never did.. I assume this is because you also saw that brake calipers are not removed for this service. It is obvious that Frist Class Halt never removed my brakes calipers while doing the brake inspection. The noise it was making was the same after the inspection. After the brake failure, when a new caliper bolt was added, the noise stopped. As I said before it is a miracle this mistake didn't cost my family and my life.

My wife took my truck to One Class Halt Cherrydale location for the A/C unit last Friday got a bill for checking it out $309.10, Little high i think that was ok to check it out. but to charge me a Repair order & Signature for $26.25. The total bill was 401.24 Then said we can not fix the truck it would have to replace the compressor -$1,461.28, condenser -$986.87, charger system -$276.35. I told her to bring the truck back home and I fix it for 2.00. I guess they seen her coming. I Went up there and ask why 2 cans of Freon if in the order stated it was not low on Freon, all i got was a lot of BS especially when i told her I fix it for $2.00 and they wanted to charge me basically for a new system.

Hello ***** *. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We provide complete transparency in our work and recommendations, during the diagnostic process the technician found several conditions that contributed to the estimate we provided, oil had saturated the a/c compressor damaging the clutch coil, the component was tested and failed, the system was not excessively low on refrigerant but we recovered .55 kg normal charge level is .57kg to .63kg we charged to .63kg which is noted on your copy, the particular design for the a/c system drier desiccant to be replaced requires a new condenser it is considered non-serviceable unless you replace the entire component which is recommended during a compressor replacement. We have attempted to reach out to you to discuss your recent visit, but have been unsuccessful. If you could, at your convenience, please call Thomas at ***** ******** to discuss your experience.
