      Long replaced my entire home HVAC system back in 2023. They could not have been more professional, courteous, or timely. They have subsequently performed our annual maintenance. In my opinion, they are the best service industry professionals I have ever had the privilege of working with. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars if the BBB review rating scale went high enough. You will not find a more honest & professional company to do business with.

      If I could give 10 STARs, I would. From the moment I was referred to Long's, I have had the Best experience! Brandi responded quickly, sending Jason W***** to my home in minimal time (within hours of my call). He came for a free estimate, & brought 2 window A/C units with him, installing them within minutes of arriving. There was an electrical issue with 2 circuit breakers. They gave me an expert referral [**** ***** ***********, (private contractor in Greenville, SC area] who also came to my house & fixed both breakers within the hour he arrived. This team at Long's Heating & A/C & **** ***** *********** are a dynamic duo. As a heart patient, coming out of the hospital, my house was at 89°. They both treated my initial call as if I was family. I recommend them highly, without reservation. I'm a 69 year old Veteran. I have never had better service in my life. Thank you again Long's Team: Brandi, Jason & Nicole W*****, Anthony, & Darlene; & thank you again - to their expert, fast acting referral of Electrician, Greg D*****

      I wish I could give them zero stars. This company has literally ripped me off for 3 years. I've had HVAC issues since the first summer I closed on my home. Long has been on service calls to my residence and most of the time they didn't repair anything yet charged me for coming. I've had the circuit board replaced, thermostat among other items and they've charged me for it all. The last straw was today when I was charged 219 dollars for a tech to come out and tell me that I had a short in my unit because improperly wires had burnouts on them. Instead of just replacing the wires, he said he would have to charge an additional 500 dollars for 5 minutes of work. I refused so he left me 219 dollars shorter and still no AC. I ended up fixing it myself with the help of others. Long can literally kick rocks. You have stolen from me for the last time. I wouldn't recommend Long to my worst enemy. There are so many better options.

      My wife and I purchased a new construction home 2 years ago and Long Heating and Air installed our HVAC system. We have an issue of air not coming out of the vent along with the rust / Condensation I called Long Heating and Air and now they are telling me they are no longer servicing homes they recently did Installs with.

      came to do a service call for warranty work. I guess from install they didn’t use any brain power to understand the pipe needed to be strapped. Went up in the attic an the dryer vent is just spraying lent into the attic. They came and fixed it while I was at work. Get home and they leave insulation on the stairs and near the front door. Without even getting the attic all lent free (feel like they should cleaned up the mess since they didn’t do the work correct in the first place). I’m in the trades and know to leave the place how you entered. Horrible experience. Would have rather fixed it myself then have them touch another thing.

      I wish I could leave them a negative stars! Long installed a unit in my newly constructed home. Our home was built in 2020. Within 6 months our unit stopped working. A technician came out and told us that the motor had to be replaced. Which they did. Fast forward to 4 months after that…our unit went out again. A technician came out and told us our capacitor went out and needed to be replaced…which they did. An hour after replacing the capacitor, the unit went out again and there was a smoke smell coming from the unit. Long was not able to come and fix it that day, so we called a local company to look at it. The local company informed us that Long had failed to properly ground the unit and it caused a fire in the unit. After posing a fire hazard to our home, we decided to go with this local company for our service contract that found Long’s error. No way was I allowing Long back onto my property. Fast forward to November of this last year. (2021) Our unit went out again. The local company came out and looked at the unit and discovered that our unit was not installed correctly and this was most likely the reason for the capacitor and motor going out previously. After spending $6300 to correct Long’s install mistakes, Long refuses to cover the expense and take responsibility for their mistake. Their reason? They weren’t allowed to come out and inspect. Why would I let a company that could have burned my home down come and inspect their work? So they could have patched the problem and walked away for us to have this issue again in 6 months? We have provided ample documentation as proof of their shoddy work and they have admitted they were “most likely” in the wrong, but refuse to make repartitions. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. We are also not the only home in our 2 yr old neighborhood to fall victim to this companies poor work. Up to 5 homes that I know of have had issues to date - all units were installed by Long.
