On 7/3/24, we had SPS come pick up a tank that we are no longer using. On 7/9/24, we received an invoice for $150 for picking up the tank. We were never informed of the fee, or provided with an opportunity to avoid the fee, such as taking the tank to them, which we would have done. When I called them about it, I was told it was a "standard" fee. I want this fee to be waived, and for them to have to tell people of this charge.Business response

I received a bill for $84.00 this past Thursday 11/10/2022 as a PENALTY for not using over 40 gallons of propane. I actually used 38.50 according to the service invoice. Subsequent to phoning the company, associate Landry, stated we must use 200 gals per year or be charged this penalty. We have been with this company nearly 9 years and this is a FIRST and we never used that newly required amount and/or been charged. The associate stated a new business took over and that is their ruling. We have never received the newly instituted policy requiring this unreasonable standard and HAVE NEVER SIGNED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THERE TO/OF. This PENALTY for SAVING ENERGY is beyond belief and I believe is GOUGING in violation of law. Request BBB take further action against this company policy for penalizing consumer energy contentiousness.Initial Complaint

On 11/24/2021 I purchase 100 gallon of gas for $375.90 gave a copy of my POA and Death certificate. On 12/01/2021 someone name ******* ******** brought gas out. He left a tag that said Warning Do not open your value! I call for explanation 3 time and each time I was told that the manager will call me back. On 12/21/2021 I went to the office to find out what going on. I talk with the manager and someone name **** *****. **** make a statement that my sister came in we have a family problem. I told her this is business you got a copy of my POA, death certificate and deed to that house where gas was deliver. I told the Manager because the tank is lock I would like for you to Pick up your tank and refund me my money he agreed to do that He also said I will pick it up on 12/27/2021 no later than 12/29/2021 and refund money in 7-14 Business days. The tank is still on my property.
