On December 14, 2022 I entered into a contract with and paid a 50% deposit for J&J custom carpentry to stain my fence. They never scheduled a date to come out and I have followed up multiple times (at least 5 times) between January of 2023 and April of 2023. They used the excuse of the weather initially but then just completely quit responding. With that being said, they have not tried to resolve the issue. On February 13th I asked for them to either schedule an appointment to stain the fence or return my 50% deposit. I followed up again on April 17th for the same request either schedule the appointment or return my deposit. They have quit responding to me and are refusing to give me my money back. At this point I do not want to use their company for this service and I want my 50% deposit back. I have included as support my quote, my invoice to pay 50% and the receipt of payment of that amount. Amount was $121.21. I have also provided text message support of the interactions.
