On October 21, 2024 I received a letter at my home stating I had an unpaid parking ticket from March 9, 2024. According to Vista Parking they had sent multiple letters and were now "offering a reduced payment amount if this is paid within 45 days". First, they never contacted me prior to Oct 21, 24. Never did I receive an email, letter, or any notification. Second, if I ****** Maps the location of the said parking violation, no street exists. Third, I live in Simpsonville, SC and do not recall being in Columbia on the day of the violation. If by chance I was and did happen to park at the non-existent location they claim I parked at, then I would have paid for parking. I would like this violation to be dropped. I called and left a message for Vista Parking the day that I received the letter. Ten days later, nobody has returned my call and their mailbox is full. They do not have an email or a proper website. When I go to file a dispute on their so-called website it requests a violation number, yet there isn't one on my letter.

I parked in a lot on 10/20/24 & received a parking violation from Vista Parking. I don't like to pay online, but the ticket did not have a street address to send a check; they force you to pay online. There is no ph # on ticket, BBB provided one for me. I've tried to call all day & only get a recorded msg saying mailbox is full. According to the city of Greenville, this is a private company. According to the City Parking Mgr, (she) "did go out and check these lots. They are marked for permit parking only. There was also an area where you pay to park, but I was not able to tell if this was part of the same property/lot." When I disputed the ticket, I got rude & unwarranted reply from the team as follows, Notes from the enforcement team: **** If you're not comfortable using the methods of payment then you need to find somewhere else to park. I have seen the complaints online (BBB) regarding this company, are they even legit? What kind of company doesn't empty their mailbox or not have an address?

Was trying to park in one of their parking lots and walked up to the sign where it tells you to pay for parking as I’m standing at the sign. The guy takes pictures of my truck and gives me a ticket ticket when I ask the “officer” How do I pay for parking? He just said too late and drove off. I went through the appeals process on the website and haven’t heard anything from them, but then I received a letter in the mail threaten legal action because I haven’t given the matter attention.

Mr. *******, we received your appeal on 4/4/24 at 8:55PM and our system had the response time listed on 4/5/24 at 1:34am. At the time, we had reduced the violation to the time of parking for that day and the system sends an automatic email "denying" the appeal for a full void, but the operator comments in the email will show that we reduced the violation. We've also made sure to do some re-training when it comes to patrons viewing signage and our customer service.

Initially, this business sent me a citation but it was for a vehicle that I use to own but no longer own. The manager emailed me and asked for proof and I sent him a copy of my richland county tax bill that showed a different tag #. He refunded my money back and said he pulls from dmv system and they didn’t update it. I recently received the same citation threatening collections and legal action for this same fee this business refunded back and confirmed via email that the vehicle was not in my name. I have sent a 2nd email to him today. This man refuse to pick up the phone and respond to phone calls. I did leave a message stating that I would do to his business with a police officer so he will talk to me about this ongoing issue. All he has do is contact the dmv which he claimed he uses their system. I talked to the dmv and they said that vehicle the citation was done on is not in my name. This needs to be resolved and the manager refuses to pick up the phone to try to resolve this ongoing matter.

On the night of the event I paid the required $8.60 parking fee but when dinner was over they provided me a citation stating I needed to pay as failure to pay. This is incorrect and they refuse to contact me back to resolve this matter.

If you type in the citation number to the website provided on the attachment you provided, you can see the citation was written before you paid (my guess is you walked off and paid while our attendant was in the lot as they write the tickets at the car). Regardless, you could have appealed the ticket (also on the website from the attachment you provided) and we would have waived the citation since it was written only a few minutes before you paid (and I will do so now). In the future our signs say pay before you leave the lot (just as you would have to do if you were paying a meter with an app) as the person writing the citation only can see if the spot was paid or unpaid at the time they did their check of the lot. Regardless, I will void it for you as a one time courtesy

On March 23rd my husband and I went to breakfast at Cafe Strudel and on their website, it clearly states that we could park in the parking lot of the funeral home as long as there was not service being held (I have uploaded a snapshot of their website). We were in the restaurant for approximately 1 hour eating our food. Upon arrival back at our vehicle we noticed a citation on the windshield. Apparently, there was a QR code sign that we were supposed to scan and pay for parking. When I went online to pay for parking THE ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE WAS TO PAY TO PARK WAS ALL DAY PARKING. My husband and I were not planning on staying in the area until 11:59 PM that day. This company is trying is rip us off. I will pay for the hour that we were in the restaurant, but not all day. And now they want me to pay an additional $38.00 for the citation. I refuse to pay, and will take this to small claims court, if necessary. This company is knowingly ripping people off and they should be held accountable.

I want them to issue a full correction to the credit bureau if they have reported this to them stating that this was a mistake on their part and that it should not negatively affect our credit. I do not want to pay a fine as we already paid for parking!
