On Sunday (7/7/24) around 11pm, I noticed leaking from the ceiling in my closet. The following morning I contacted ********** This company installed the Trane and it was under warranty. They sent a technician to our home and he was able to correct the issue. He reported the flow switches were not wired correctly to turn the unit off. In his notes about the visit to our home he was very thorough and included that his manager would contact me regarding fixing damages to the ceiling. I havent spoke to a manager yet. When I call the office to speak to a manager Im given the runaround and told the manager is aware and gave the info to someone to contact a contractor. Seems like theyre stalling and extremely bad on creating a line of communication so Ill know whats going on verses having to call. Since I was expressing difficulties with getting the someone on the phone, I asked my husband to call. He was told that a contractor was having trouble getting in touch with me. Which is not true. My husband provided his number for the contractor to call and he didnt call. My main concern now is mold developing. And the actions of this company leads me to believe they have no intentions of fixing the water damage to the ceiling caused by installation done incorrectly.Review from Richard S

Signed up for ********* services in order to keep my two AC units ******************** made by Trane) cleaned and maintained. Signed up for "Comfort Guard Plus" membership in October paying 273..00. April I had not received a call to schedule spring maintenance (contract stated "we'll call you to schedule" visit was set for June 10, 2024. J.Q. arrived and was respectful and professional. He kept me informed and after cleaning the condenser coils he asked if I would approve the cleaning job he had done. He proposed I needed a new outdoor fan (***), *** capacitor and upstairs condenser capacitor totaling *******. He spent a good amount of time trying to convince me I needed to update my 11 year old units though they were running well and have an energy star rating. I declined stating I would most likely do the repairs myself ( I am an HVAC student with an EPA Universal License). After he left, my downstairs unit was blowing warm. I didn't have time to make any checks at the moment because I had to go to school. Upon returning from school I noticed the outdoor unit was buzzing loudly, outdoor fan motor was not working and the unit was hot to touch. I cut power and let the unit rest. I removed the *** and electrical inspection panel in the AM. Using schematic, I traced each wire and found the 24Volt wire pulled apart (I have pictures). After reconnecting, *** began working but ran backward. This indicated a bad *** capacitor (as J.Q. asserted). Upon inspection I found each terminal had been loosened by screwdriver and put back (loose connections on a capacitor will make the capacitor behave as if it were bad). I tightened each connector and the *** began running flawlessly as before. Prior to making my own repairs I did called to get them to come out and fix the problem they created. ********* refused to come back unless I agreed to pay *******. After repairing the unit I called ****** (manager) for refund of ******, he agreed. No refund as of yet.Review from Jeanette F

Horrible experience. We purchased, at the advice of Best Care home services two water heaters 2 years ago. They both have a 9 year warranty. One of the water heaters was dripping from the drain pipe this morning, they came in and said that we should have never bought these water heaters, even though their consultant ***** recommended them. They did not diagnose anything and immediately said we needed a whole new heating element. They wanted to charge us $475 for labor. They also said should change the other one out as well!! We asked them to leave! This company is a complete scam and I am very disappointed that ***************** would recommend this fraud of a company!!Best Care Home Services Response

0 stars came out and took my money for Freon that I cant use because they said the compressor is bad now after you took my money shouldve checked that when you came out for my system ????Best Care Home Services Response

Your warranty company has denied coverage on the compressor due to secondary damage caused by running the unit with no refrigerant due to a leak in the evaporator coil. There was no way to know that your compressor would fail once the evaporator coil was fixed. Your warranty company makes all coverage decisions. We have to abide by what they tell us.Review from Beverly R

This company is awesome. My 93 old mom needed a plumber..I called on New Years Day and was elated a nice young lady answered.she informed she could have someone come out the next morningwhich is today 1-2-24.the serviceman was so nice and was on timethank you for the wonderful serviceBest Care Home Services Response

I had a tankless water heater installed in 2019 by Best Care Home Services. Unfortunately, because the unit was not installed correctly (drain hoses) the water drained back into the unit and destroyed the heat exchanger. I paid a total of ******* for an unprofessional job. Moreover, the technician from a creditable plumbing company stated that the gas exchange valve was not install on the unit correctly. Best Care put my family and I in danger. I called customer service and explained to them the situation and they wanted me to pay them another $80.00 for them to re-evaluate what they did incorrectly. Why would I trust them again? ******* Branch (Contracted through Home Depot)Share Response from the owner 8 months ago ****************** - we would be happy to send our Installation Manager to your home to evaluate the installation of your tankless water heater. I can assure, if we installed anything incorrectly, we will make the necessary changes. I'll have him reach out to you.I still have not heard from them. Buyer be aware. Best Care are scammers. On October 26, they visited my home with a scam to check my heating for free. On The following Monday, 10/20/23. I attempted to use my heat and it did not even come on. I called and they sent the same tech who said maybe he left something unplugged. Wow! You think I would let you in my house again!! I called another HVAC ang they found he had indeed unused the pressure switch hose. I wish I could successfully *** them!!! They are crooks and scammers. The break things do they can fix them and charge you for nothing. They wanted me to pay 5K for some trumped up repairs... they should be stopped...Best Care Home Services Response

This was not a scam. As a previous customer, we called to offer a courtesy safety inspection on her furnace to ensure it was safe to run for winter. Even though she has a regular service provider she uses, she took us up on our offer. She could have said no. ************** found multiple issues with both systems; we previously found issues with her upstairs system that she still hadn't fixed. ************** did a thorough check of both systems, looking at both the heating and air conditioning on both systems. He wrote up a thorough summary of his findings and gave a price for repairs. She refused to make any repairs and paid $0 for the visit. When we were called back out because she stated a furnace was not coming on, she allowed us to scheduled the technician back out - who is a senior technician with our company. When he arrives, she refused him entry. We cannot confirm that there was actually an issue with the furnace or if she had her other company out after us and they did something to cause the furnace not to work. We absolutely did not break something just to charge for repairs. i would be happy to send our HVAC Service Manager to take a look at the furnace. We offered that on the day she refused entry to ************** and she wouldn't even talk to him on the phone.
