      The technician gave you an estimate prior to any work being performed. You signed the estimate agreeing to the price and agreeing to have the work performed. We repaired the shower valve that the customer tried to work on himself. We then returned 4 days later to free of charge to replace a screw that the customer had lost when he tried to repair it himself.

      Austin cleared an obstruction in a bathroom sink drain. He had it done quickly, cleaned the sink, was helpful in his suggestions for my future plumbing needs, and was just such a nice guy!. I am so relieved to have the problem solved!

      I have a tankless hot water heater in the house that was only able to produce hot water on the side of the house closest to the heater. I called Michael Shaver Plumbing they sent a tech and I was charged $90 and was told that the Shower valve may be the issue. A few days later another tech showed up, replaced the valve charged me $752.25 and still had no hot water. he left several valves off in the house which left me with no hot water at all. I was then told it could be one of the mixing valves in one of the two bathrooms on the far side of the house, the estimate was $1370.00. A few days later a third tech arrived with a completely different valve that did not match the old one so the techn had to change all the plumbing connections to reattach, which took over 3 hours to do. When the tech was finished with the first one, I still did not have hot water. The tech was on the phone with other colleagues for an hour, he went under the house and worked on the tankless heater, to check for other problems. When the tech could not find the issue, I suggested we change the other mixing valve while he was there already and he stated that he did not have the time and needed to go to another call and they would reschedule. I was charged $685.00. Once the tech was gone I had no hot water at all. I noticed the tankless heater had an error of 438 displayed. I sent an email to the owner stating my problem, the owner replied quickly and sent the tech back later that night and found the check valve was my problem and I was given an estime of $285 to replace it. I called the local plumbing supply store and found that same valve for $6. Meanwhile before I found that part, the owner had the nerve to send me another estimate to replace the mixing valve in the other bathroom for $1285.00 because the first one took so long to install. Needless to say I called another plumber and the problem was resolved in 10 min for $180.00.

      Sorry that you were not satisfied with the service. This was a complex job and it was explained to the customer that it would be trial and error due to the fact there were multiple mixing valves in his system and it was impossible to pinpoint which one was failing. We were not allowed to complete the job fully to get the issue resolved.

      I called Michael about a septic tank problem we had. Ben came out identified the problem and grave us a very reasonable quote. Ben fixed the problem the next morning. They know what they're doing and customer service seems to be top priority!! We will definitely be using them for all our plumbing needs Thanks Michael and Ben!!
