I was sent a letter dated April 18,2024 from Promises Behavioral Health about a refund that they owed me. They wanted to confirm credit card numbers for the refund or if I preferred a check. they wanted to confirm my address. I said that I would like to be sent a check. They said once the information was confirmed, I would receive the refund within 30 days. It has now been ***************************************************************** their *********, ** office. Around the first of June of 2024, I called the Collections Specialist to see what the status was of the refund and if there was any additional information that they needed to expedite the receiving of the refund. While on the phone, the Collections Specialist emailed the person that needed to approve the refund. I called one more time in the middle of June, to find out what the status was of the refund and left a message that if anything had changed or if I could speak to a supervisor, to please call me. I didn't receive a call. It has been 60 days since I received the letter. It has been approximately 2 years since I went to their facility and stayed there for one week. I would appreciate it if Promises Behavioral Health would make it a priority to process this refund. This refund is way overdue. I hope that they will choose to be a business that has integrity and make it a priority to refund our money so that I can move on and have closure.

I made a deposit of over $10,000 for a months stay for my son. He only stayed one week. When I asked about my refund, I was told they could not issue it until the insurance processed the claim (understandable). The insurance processed the claim 3 months ago and I have yet to recieved my refund of over $8000. I've called multiple times and gave been told it's waiting for VP sign off. That's quite a lot of money to not issue a client!

Promises Behavioral Health Billing Department is refusing to provide an update regarding the $5,202.00 my family paid them up front in order to receive their services. They also filed a complaint internally on my behalf only after I confirmed that I would receive a copy of the complaint once filed with ******. Now they have changed their minds and will only give me a copy of the complaint once a resolution has been made after 48 business hours. What good is a resolution to a complaint that I am not able to see until resolved? On 9/20/22, they provided me an update on the $5,202.00 stating that $1,233.84 was applied. Now they are refusing to provide an update on the application of the remaining balance despite all claims being processed. I reached out on 9/28/22 to the supervisor ********** and heard nothing. I called and emailed again on 9/29/22 with no response. I called and emailed again 9/30/22 and finally received acknowledgment of my communication. They are providing inconsistent, conflicting information. They are not acting in good faith because they already have our money.

Consumer Response /* (450, 9, 2022/10/11) */ After much attitude from the Billing Department, they have now resolved the issue. Someone should investigate this company for their horrible business practices.
