Purchased a new truck from Toyota of Bristol. Sitting in the driveway two weeks after I purchased turned on the defroster and the front window shattered. No visible damage, no rock damage, no impacts nothing... sitting in the driveway and it cracked. Called Toyota of Bristol was told to come by before 5 and service manager would look at it. I took off work two hours early, rescheduled patients got there at 4 and he had already left. They sent out an elderly lady who looked at my window and said "yep its a rock" and walked off. Took my car to insurance agent who set me up with an appointment to get it fixed ($1600 by the way because cameras and recalibration). Insurance service person said no visible impact that most likely at the factory they let the glue for the glass set too hard and the cold glass and warm air from the defroster caused it to expand and crack. After a couple of weeks of talking with the general manager and wasting my time and money driving to their dealership they finally "graciously" sent me a check for $250 half of my deductible for what should have been a warranty issue. This was my third vehicle purchased from Toyota of Bristol and my last, there are way too many dealerships to have to put up with this kind of treatment.

We purchased a used 2020 Toyota 4runner on 3/19/2022.We paid a total of $49,343.32, including $2,032.72 sales tax, $795 Gap Insurance, $22.50 Government license and registration fees, $2,396.10 that was left over from our trade-in vehicle, which was a 2021 Chev Silv 1500, which we were advised would be fully paid off, $3,450 Toyota Extra Care Certi, $649 Toyota of Bristol Doc Fee. We received the loan of $49,343.32 on 3/19/22 from Toyota Motor Credit. When my husband and I arrive at Toyota of Bristol, heretofore referred as dealership, it is 8:20pm, after their closing time of 8pm on 3/19/22. It was dark, the salesman, came to our vehicle we were trading in and took us to the 4runner we purchased. I immediately noticed it did not have a sunroof, floormats, and many other amenities that came with the 4runner I viewed online. The 4runner me and my husband viewed and agreed on purchasing on the dealerships website, said it was a pre-owned 2020 Toyota 4runner Limited 4WD, the same vin#JTEBU5JR2LXXXXXXX as what they were showing us when we arrive at the dealership, which was a 2020 Toyota 4runner SR5. The salesman also failed to mention over the phone before we agree to the purchase that there are chips in the paint on the body of the vehicle, it wasn't a Limited, there was no sun roof, there was no floor mats, nothing that a Limited Weirton comes with. When asked where the 4runner was that we agreed on, the salesman pointed to the 2020 Toyota 4runner SR5. He advised there was a "mistake" on the dealerships web site, that the picture I showed him was the wrong picture posted. After hours, they rushed my husband and I to get the paperwork signed. The dealership also failed to mention they, in fact, were not giving us payoff on the trade-in of our 21 Chev Silv 1500 previously agreed upon arrangement that they would pay it off. We felt extremely under pressure and rushed, and signed the paperwork, called next day and advised we wanted to return, the dealership refused.
