August 5, 2021, Colonoscopy. Agreed to have done because my screening was do, knowing 100% covered. Discussed with Nurse Practitioner and scheduler and believed we were all on same page about this being part of my preventive care and told scheduler I will not have to pay any down my Insurance covers this 100%. Received billing for deductible and being told by billing it was coded as diagnosis rather than screening and Dr's office will not change coding and resubmit. So 6 months later after myself as well as my insurance company contacting billing I am still receiving a bill for approximately $643. I am perplexed as to what process I would have to go thru for that same procedure I had 4 years ago(same things done paid 100%) to be paid 100%
