On Tuesday, 8/12/2024 Webb Lawn Care came to mow my grass. The person crashed his mower into my fence, knocking over a gate post and the cement it was grounded in. He did not report it to me, he just left. I spoke to the business owner , she seemed sympathetic, promised the fence would be fixed within the week. It has not. I plan to speak to the owner again after this weekend. I have a sinking feeling I’m not going to get satisfaction. I am a widow on a fixed income. I cannot afford this expense. I’m sure this was an accident, but I should have been told about it. I don’t understand this dishonesty.

      Dear BBB Representative,
We are writing in response to the recent complaint filed by Susan ******** ********** ** ********* ** ********* regarding knocking over a gate post and the cement.
Upon thoroughly reviewing the complaint, we respectfully believe that the information provided by the customer is incorrect. Our records indicate that when the mowing team went to mow this pole was out of ground prior to our arrival, however after mowing our team stood the pole back up in the hole. Later the customer Ms. Gresham called and ask if we could come back and look at it. Our team went back out put dirt around it to stand in place. some days later she called again, we then went ahead and took concrete and put it in the ground. She was very satisfied.

We take customer satisfaction very seriously and have made every effort to address the customer's concerns. However, it appears there may have been some misunderstanding regarding the facts of this matter. We are more than willing to work with the customer to resolve any outstanding concerns, but we want to clarify that the complaint as filed does not reflect the true circumstances.

We kindly request that the complaint be reviewed and closed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact us directly if you require any additional information.
      Sincerely,
      Connie ******

Jeremy ***** the owner of Webb's Lawn Care, told me that he had experience installing underground water drainage, cleaning mold, encapsulating crawlspaces, and installing vinyl siding. However, the quality of work done at my home was terrible, and he was not able to fix the problems. He will no longer return my calls or respond to my letters, and some of these problems will cause water damage to my property. A few of the most serious problems are as follows: The underground drainage system he installed to divert water away from my house cannot handle the flow of water in heavy rains. For instance, water gushes out at one downspout connection and needs repeated sealing to temporarily stop or slow the flooding. Water also cascades over the top of the gutter and pours out at the connection of another downspout. He was to clean the mold in my crawl space and fix the insulation as needed, but there is still some mold in my crawl space, and some insulation is missing or fallen down. He was to replace vinyl siding that was damaged by my lawn-man's weed wacker. He ruined my corners when removing them, and he did not match my original siding or offer an alternate solution, and he did not reattach the siding that he pulled apart. My siding is loose and wood sheathing is exposed in some places. Four siding contractors have suggested that I should replace all the vinyl siding at this point. These problems began in April of 2023. I have called many subcontractors. They do not seem interested, so I have started looking for a small general contractor to handle all the repairs, but they are busy and extremely slow to respond. I am now concerned that it could cost as much or more to repair the problems as the entire contract I gave to Webb's Lawn Care. At this point I have lost confidence in Jeremy Webb's integrity and ability to do the work.
