Financed a firearm through Kings and the firearm was shipped through *** and was to be picked up at my FFL holders address. The firearm was (return to sender)sent back to Kings due to restrictions that Kings put on the package, that I know my FFL Holder knew about. When I contacted Kings they told me about this restriction that I was unaware of then they told me that I would be charged $25 restocking fee and a $15 cancellation fee. When I receive an email from Kings firearms about my refund it was much less than I thought it would be. So I contacted Kings firearms and spoke to ******* and was told that I was charged $40 for return shipping to Kings. Nowhere on Kings website or any paperwork that I did with Kings firearms stated that I would be charged $40 for return shipping to them. On Kings website order cancellations are subject to a $25 fee. When I asked ******* about how all these numbers add up the $25 fee $15 fee and now a $40 return to sender fee she had no answer and could not answer me for the exceptions of "do you expect us to pay the return to sender fee?" I was then told by ******* that the fee was for Kings to send the firearm back to the distributor. I proceed to ask her why they passed **** fee onto the consumer without letting them know. I let her know that I was going to contact the better Business bureau over the matter because I was never told of or shown in writing of a $40 return to sender fee that *** does not charge. It seems that Kings firearms is making up a return policy as they go just to charge the consumer more money so they can pocket the profit and this is wrong.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/16) */ Kings Firearms Online Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Everything that Kings firearms stated and has shown shows that there should have only been a $25 restocking/cancellation fee. When I told ******* that the restocking/cancellation fee was subject to a $25 charge she told me that they need to reword that. And again in any of the correspondence sent to and from Kings said nothing about a $40 charge on a "return to sender" fee. And under King firearms purchasing accessories online which is the last page they turned into the better Business bureau it states if the shipment gets returned to us you will be responsible for any reshipping charges reshipping charges that they refer to in that particular paragraph deals with rerouting to a different location you would have to pay a reshipping charge due to an incorrect address no company gets charged a reshipping fee for a return to sender item. On top of the last page only refers to purchasing accessories online not firearms. I understand the aspect of a $25 cancellation / restocking fee but again that is something that is a subject charge not a definite charge so Kings could drop that if they wanted to. But again nowhere does it show that I would be charged $40 for a reshipping charge back to their distributor on the rifle. Again the last page that Kings firearms turned in to the better Business bureau shows that there is no return shipping charge for a firearm only the purchase of accessories online. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/12/17) */ We will issue the $40 and it will be properly added to the website, but remember NO Firearms can be sent anywhere other than to the FFL. Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2021/12/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Refund accepted, in the future you might want to add DETAILED information to your website about shipping and DETAILED information about how you expect the consumer to pay a return shipping charge, instead of making things up as you go along. You may also want to look into how rude and vindictive your employees are. Have a wonderful day.
