Complete failure w customer service. Twice i was told there was no copay for a follow-up. I called to cancel the appointment and the receptionist said there is no copay, so I went in. She didn't ask for a copay. A month later I get a $45. charge to pay. I called agin and the gal said no payment was required for a follow-up, disregard the bill. It has been a NIGHTMARE trying to get a straight answer from anyone there. Not only did another bill come, they added a late fee. I have TRIED to speak with an administrator, and get a complete runaround.Review from Dan A

The staff was good but the billing is a scam. Even if you set up arrangements for payments they will send to collections. The collections team will have access to the notes that the billing department DOESN'T put on the accounts. Consistently making payments? No worries they’ll send you to collections and add more fees to make the payments you’ve made insignificant. I DO NOT recommend this place for that very reason.Review from Rik T.

I want to discuss the behavior f one of their medical affiliates.. Their is no way to to communicate with them. only with the affiliate. I have had discussion with the affiliate that are not useful or helpful and against general medical practice. I want a policy definition or discussion. Their phone system is deliberate in it's inability to escalate or talk to anyone else as is their web page.. I need to them to respond and discuss . The more they make that impossible, the more this looks like a pattern and in need to other people investigating their practices. It's bad business, but as it's medicine and psychological services.. anti patient policy is dangerous. They need a feed back loop and they don't have one. I WANT that discussion, whether I stay there or not... and I want other organizations looking at their medical and business practices. I see many complaints in BBB against the individual practice groups so it is not just me.Review from Diane L

This is a PARTIAL copy of an email (with attachments) I have sent to The Commissioner of Commerce and Insurance and my local state representative. This text box is limiting me to 2000 characters: To Whom It May Concern, On June 20th, I was seen at the Fast Pace Medical Clinic in Jamestown, TN. I was diagnosed with sinusitis and given a prescription for an antibiotic. They took my credit card before being seen, and I understood this on my end as a goodwill gesture to ensure they get paid. I did not receive a bill at the end of the visit. A few weeks later, I received an email from them saying that they have filed my claim. There was no bill attached. I asked for one and did not receive a reply. They charged me $395 for this walk in visit. I was certain my bill had not been coded correctly. After numerous attempts to make contact with a "higher up" I finally spoke with someone from Fast Pace who sent me a bill. In our conversation, Heather T******* explained that Fast Pace has a contract with **** allowing them to bill as an "urgent care facility." I attempted to resolve this issue with Ms. T******* with no success. I contacted **** who explained that they go with whatever code the clinic puts on the claim. In this case, a code for "urgent care" which I did not receive. Before I went into their clinic, I checked their website. They advertised themselves as not only urgent care but made an effort to advertise other services such as flu shots, vaccinations, sports physicals, behavioral health, etc. It was reasonable for me to assume I would be billed along those lines for a walk in visit. They did not inform me that I would be billed for "urgent care" although it was a simple walk in visit. Once **** completed the EOB, they adjusted the bill by $145. The remainder was to be my responsibility as part of my deductible. Fast Pace then charged my credit card $250.Fast Pace Health Urgent Care Clinic Response

Regarding Fast Pace’s response to my review… They would like to reach out and discuss. That is rich.Good Luck on that. It took an act of congress to get a live person to help and help they DID NOT do. I was spoken to very condescending. This matter has NOT been resolved. It has escalated. They WILL charge your debit or credit card without prior authorization. They cannot even file an insurance claim properly or rather they DID but now that I’m on their radar … My date of service was 2-18-24 was denied. I think this is deliberate at this point.I reached out to my insurance company and they saw the provider’s errors and are refilling.Consumer’s beware as they WILL debit your account WITHOUT authorization. If you have by chance have paid with credit, debit or HSA card I would HIGHLY recommend you close those cards immediately and report this company to any and every agency that is available. If that doesn’t help hire an attorney… This is ridiculous. I have been in the medical field for 35 plus years and I have NEVER EVER experienced this much ATROCIOUS behavior and you CANNOT just go into ANY patient’s bank account and just take what you want!!!! And back to the insurance I was there a couple of times before with no problems and insurance was filed correctly and then I had this HUGE issue with them just taking whatever they wanted out of my BANK ACCOUNT and then yes, I tried and tried to reach out with virtually no help and I have filed complaints with agency that I can think of and now all of a sudden I’m getting a bill for over $600.00 and my insurance denied I now think that was in purpose. Retaliation for my complaints which are JUST. OUTRAGEOUS!!!Review from Amy B

I went to get tested for flu and strep and assumed that my insurance would cover most of the cost since I knew an uninsured family member had to pay $150 for the same service. Instead, they billed my insurance $145 and charged my card $250 without ever sending a bill or notice. I tried asking them why it costs so much more if you are insured than if you aren’t and contact attempts went unanswered. I am making sure to tell everyone about this scam in hopes that they aren’t fooled like I was. If you absolutely must go, do not present your insurance information. The level of care received was definitely not work even the $150.Fast Pace Health Urgent Care Clinic Response

Went in with a sore throat, was confirmed strep throat. Was given a script and told if it wasn't been in a week or so to come back for a stronger medication. Came back, as instructed, got a stronger medication and was charged for another visit. After numerous calls was told too bad, so sad, you still owe us $125. Sounds like this is how they typically do in order to get repeat visits and allows them to charge additional fees as while I was sitting there for the follow visit, 2 other people came in saying they were there for a stronger medication.Review from Hany M

I do not leave reviews on anything. I would say I have left 4 reviews in my life. This Fast Pace was impressively awful. I came in on 2/16/24 for a pretty routine workup for possible strep/sinus infection and my goodness what a time. My appointment was set for 2:06pm I arrived at that exact time and paid my copay at 2:08 (per my receipt). I sat in the lobby for an hour and five minutes waiting to go back. I arrived in the back at 3:15 PM and the nurse took vitals and swabbed for COVID, Strep, and the Flu. She left at 3:20PM. I did not see the doctor until 4:42 where he came in and was unsure of where the results of my swabs were. A different lady came in and did not even know I had been swabbed and asked if they could re swab me. I declined this. They found my results after another 5 minutes and I was told I was negative and was free to go. I have never waited that long to be told nothing at any office I have ever been to. I would not recommend coming to this location to anyone. I will not be returning. Some advice I would give would be to come in and at least check on your patients in the rooms every 20 minutes to make sure they do not need anything instead of letting them sit there for over an hour and twenty minutes with nothing. Thoroughly disappointed with the staff and the process of Fast Pace Millington.
