I met with the sales representative. He was very pleasant and helpful. He explained the whole process. When Jacob came out to perform the job, he was already complaining about how he could not do the job on the patio. He was also complaining about the salesperson, stating that he did not do his job because he was new. I had spent a full weekend pulling everything out of my garage so, I went ahead and let them do my garage which was not the job I initially wanted. I wanted my patio. It was a nightmare. Jacob spent the majority of the time complaining. It looked like he was raining someone. They did a horrible job pressure washing. They did not even get the simple paint off the floor. I called the company within an hour of them leaving and complained. I called them multiple times to no results. I left all my belongings outside for 2 weeks thinking that they would look at it and correct it. I eventually had to redo the garage myself. It looks so much better, but I still have these huge white spots. This is a lousy company that does not stand by their product!!! I have pictures of before, after and after I fixed the problem. Never should you use this company!! They need to be sued for breach of Contract!!Review from Maggie R.

We met with the sales representative and he explained the process and stated the advantages of having pool patio sealed. He stated the pavers would be cleaned and sealed and would be guaranteed for 25 years. I asked if the grass and some vegetation would no longer be a problem …he assured me that the plants would not ever be a problem again. This was the main concern I had and with his assurance we agreed to the project. They set date and failed to call and advise that the product was out of stock and would have to be reset. We had already paid Half of the charges and called them to get a new date..the date changed twice. Very poor communication on the company’s part. The main complaint the name of the company is Ever-Seal however their product we have been told now is not a sealer but penetrates and doesn’t keep a things from growing between pavers. We were told this after the job was completed. Extremely unhappy with our decision and out almost 6000.00 dollars! I would not recommend this company and would not give it even a 1 star rating.Review from IRENE M

So far I am very unhappy with the jobs done on my pavers. I have spoken with your office and my sales person and if this is not right after the 90 days, I will have to dispute my charges of $1,200.00. I was told by my salesperson that my pavers will look like they did when new but they do not. Very black still and your system took out most of the sand between the pavers. They look even worse than they did prior to your treatment.Review from Richard L

They stink!! Bogus all the way... stay away from this company. They advertise aggressively but DO NOT BACK UP their product. The 25-year warrantee is a scam. They have no follow-up with the customer process. After repeated calls and emails (with photographs) they have yet to provide a clear process for me to receive resolution. What a joke! Their office manager Michelle is well versed in saying no -- Will now be proceeding with the Consumer protection office in TN for further action.Review from Cheri R

First of all, AMAZING customer service. From the moment I called to request an estimate to the final payment, the ladies in the office 10/10! Very helpful with my many questions and concerns and they explained the warranty thoroughly when I did not understand it at first. The representative that came to my home to provide me with a quote was very professional and polite, he also answered all my questions. The day of the installation the crew came to greet me and explained what they were about to do, I left them to do the work and I was amazed by the beautiful results! My wood looked so refreshed and bright, I am looking forward to see how it holds up over the next 25+ years.Review from M. T.

This has been an extremely frustrating and horrifying experience. I booked Ever-Seal, Inc. to pressure wash and seal my front porch and back deck. Waited about three weeks for them to show up (they were almost two hours late). Did not start working on the back deck until almost 6PM in the evening and did not leave my home until almost 10PM ET. They returned two more days after that to work on my front porch and oh what a mess they have made!!! We got home and my front porch was destroyed, and they even damaged my front door. I proceeded to call to file a complaint. I was told to email customer service with pictures. Once I emailed them, I instead received an invoice from them. Called again and got a hold of someone who told me the "job was not done" and they needed to schedule more time. Well, I am still waiting and have called numerous times, but the call continues to drop. I am going to file a small claims in my county. Please do not use this company and save yourself heartache and unnecessary stress, and not to mention wasting your money and time.Ever-Seal, Inc. Response

The job had to be postponed due to rain since the chemicals required to remove the coatings that she was not charged for require dryer weather to activate properly along with the time required to do the job properly since it had a coating we weren't aware of before the installers arrived. We have spoken to her several times. She's aware that the job is only partially done. The installation team is scheduled to return this Friday to complete the work.Customer Response

Updated Review based on the lack of follow through with promises: My porch looks even worse now that the job is “finished.” I was promised by the Sales Regional Manager that it would “look just as good, if not better, than it did before.” They have now completely stripped the color from the mortar of the exposed aggregate concrete on my porch. On August 9, 2024, they came and "finished" the job, and as expected, our porch looks horrible. In addition, they killed a few of my bushes in the landscaping, further damaged my front door, and killed some of the grass (keep in mind that this is all in the front of my residence). The sales manager was supposed to come “assess” the results on August 16, 2024 but did not show due to rain. He said he’d be in touch. Fast forward to today (9/25/2024), and we still haven’t heard a peep from these people. My husband and I ended up having to redo our back deck. We had to sand and clear-coat it because of the way in which their "process" left the wood, it basically looked like a shaggy rug, and the wood was soft (not in a positive way) to the touch. This is one of those situations where I really wish I could hit the undo button. This company is a disgrace. Please stay away from these people like you do from the plague.Review from Steve M

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ever-Seal. I booked their services and paid a 50% deposit in advance, but they never scheduled the service as they promised on three separate occasions. After numerous attempts and commitments from the sales rep to get a clear answer and the work scheduled, I decided to cancel. To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund despite multiple attempts with the sale rep and owner. This lack of professionalism and customer service is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Ever-Seal if you value your time and money.Ever-Seal, Inc. Response

It's always bothersome when people leave bad reviews for companies that are simply following the agreed-upon terms of a contract. What would be unethical would be making random exceptions, thus making thousands of contracts worthless. Ever-Seal takes pride in our no-pressure guarantee in our sales process. We thoroughly detail our service, rates, paperwork, and warranty BEFORE someone can choose to become a client. Our process is the same for every potential client, with the only variable being the client's particular project and the applicable rates required to do their project correctly. Our Estimators mail in their paperwork into our office in Gallatin TN by noon on Mondays via USPS Priority Express mail (arriving by Wednesdays normally). Once the paperwork is in-house, our scheduling team begins building the routes for our installation teams and calling customers with potential installation dates that may fit their schedules. Currently, our estimators quote clients 4-8 weeks for installations from the date that they signed their paperwork, not from the time the office receives it. This client signed up on 6/10, a Monday (after the previous week's package had already been mailed). The office would not even be receiving his paperwork until 6/19 (that week's package being mailed on 6/17). We explain this at the time of sale, with the estimator choosing to simplify it with his clients by telling them to expect a call in around 5-10 days. We would never quote 2-3 weeks for installs since those schedules are likely already booked solid. We do make it a practice to under-promise and over-deliver, so we would definitely try if something became available, but the quote would have still been 4-8 weeks. We also never 100% guarantee a specific time frame since mechanical issues, natural disasters, poor weather conditions, or ill staff members could become a factor, but we're still pretty good about getting it right the first time. As a courtesy, we offer our clients a 3-day right to cancel in case they change their mind for any reason. Even though this is not required for our business since we are not unsolicited, we do have a legal obligation to follow our agreement to the letter, as well expect our clients to do the same. This three day right to cancel was well expired before this client contacted us to cancel the contract. They first contacted the Estimator, stating that he had lost his job and needed a refund. We explained that we have to follow the agreement, but he's welcome to push out his installation date if needed since that's when his remaining balance would be due. Since then, his wife has called the Estimator as well, with both making threats and accusations when they didn't get the answer that they were looking for. Currently, we are holding a date for their installation on July 12th at 10:30 am. We'll have to schedule someone else in that time slot soon if we do not hear back from this client for confirmation that this date will work for them. I'm not sure if this was due to a job loss, a decision to go with a different option, or simply something else they want to spend the money on. Ever-Seal's position is that we're obligated to follow our agreement to the letter, as we do with every client, every time. If the client would like to have the July 12th date, we'll need to know early this week. If they need to push it out awhile until their financial situation improves, we'll be happy to work with them. They simply need to call the office and let us know. Instead, this client has chosen to slander the name of a company that works tirelessly to exceed our client's expectations on every review platform they can find. The BBB and the State of NC have both ruled in our favor, but instead of accepting that they might be in the wrong like a reasonable adult, they've chosen to continue this vindictive behavior.Review from Alexis S

The office associates were so helpful throughout the entire process! Our estimator explained the process perfectly to make sure we understood everything before purchasing. When the installers came, they did a very thorough job cleaning and sealing our deck. It looks brand new. We are very happy with our entire experience with this company and will be referring our friends!Ever-Seal, Inc. Response

Worst product ever! They dont stand behind their warranty. They will let me replace the rotten board and they will come and reseal it. Why would I do that when the wood is not strengthened or protected like they said. We are having to replace the whole deck now after spending thousands on this scam. Thanks for nothing.Ever-Seal, Inc. Response

Repeat complaint that has already been addressed. As explained, rot in wood cannot be stopped once it has started. Ever-Seal can and will prevent rot from developing in wood, but cannot stop existing rot from spreading. With lumber being grown faster these days, the wood is much softer and the chemicals used to treat the wood now are highly ineffective, so rot even in newer wood is found from time to time. Also, from reviewing the pictures and the response that we have already sent to the client in April of 2021, it looks like a crack in the wood in that area that was already present in our before pictures and not actual rot. We even provided some simple tips for replacing that board. As per her warranty, she can simply replace the bad board and we'll be happy to come back out to seal it for her free of charge for the next 25 years. If that is the only defective board she has, then she'll never have this issue again. We are sorry that you do not feel that you could recommend our service, but we are talking about one defective "spot" on a 576sf deck that we're happy to come back out to seal the new board for you once replaced. Our services and warranty are clearly stated in writing and covered in our presentations with all of our clients. We serve thousands of very happy clients every year. I am sure that the money saved year over year from not having to maintain this deck should help her to reconsider her opinion of us and the value we provide over time.Customer Response

This does not just involve one small area. It is the whole deck. We had to tear down the whole deck because all of it is rotten. Your expensive product did not “strengthen” anything. I’m happy to send you a picture of all the rotten wood.Review from Larry P
