Terrible. I called Brothers to help unclog a main drain in my upstairs bathroom. They came in for 10 mins then told me I need the drain flushed and 2 new toilets. I already knew that wasn't the case as one of the toilets was less than 5 years old. Their quote was $1845 for the drain clog alone and total quote of $3500 after all the unnecessary work they added to the invoice. I called in another plumber for a second opinion he arrived and complete the entire job (snaking the drain) as that was all that was needed for less than $400. Shame on you Brothers for the ridiculous unnecessary quote. Thankfully I am an experienced home owner and knew better, but they could really take advantage of people who are unaware or elderly. I purchased a new furnace and AC unit in July 2024. Though the installers were very nice. They left a huge mess behind. Even forgetting to tighten the gas line. ************ had to come and fix it. They left materials behind and didnt even put in an air filter or at least tell me to get one. Also left a gap where they drilled a hole from outside to the inside of the house.Review from Melissa N

We have been using this excellent company for over 20 years and would highly recommend them. Our recent installation of a new Rheem furnace and AC reinforced our confidence in this excellent company. Though there were a few hiccups in the installation, I received the most courteous and concerned assistance one could hope for when purchasing and installing expensive and important equipment.Thank you for our new system! This company came for standard maintenance and made up a whole bunch of things that were potential dangers. Having a family and not wanting anything dangerous, I forked up 5k. They did the work and guess what; they broke the heat running into my bedroom and it is now freezing. Weeks of trying to get them here only to here; "we cannot find parking, we are leaving" or, "I don't know how to fix this". Completely crazy. This was a nightmare experience. Initial diagnosis of three clogs due to roots in sewage pipe leading to street. They were unable to remove them. They dug two trenches, one to remove initial clog. That pipe was cut in the incorrect place and did not remove the clog. Continued to do inspection and decided they needed to ***lace pipe from house to street because it was so damaged for $******* second opinion and they were able to remove the three clogs and cleaned entire pipe to street without identifying any damage. Second ******* even ran a power wash through the pipe which Aksarben said was impossible because the damage was so bad. There are roots coming in the pipes but only require a yearly cleaning. Second ******* charged $1925. He also identified a newly installed pipe portion that was misaligned and Aksarben refused to fix it. The second *******'s work was done in 4 hours. At this point I had been dealing with Aksarben for one week.Ended up paying Aksarben $5200 for work that a) didn't need to happen and b) disturbed integrity of my pipe by installing two new portions (one improperly). I suppose I'm "lucky" they didn't make me stick to last contract signed of $******* week after ceasing work, I still have a trench 15 foot deep and 3x7 wide, a pile of dirt (now mud), and caution tape with street barricades in my front yard and retaining wall bricks from the front scattered in my side yard. Requested call with manager and he never called. In trying to get in touch with him I had to work with ***************** *** and she relayed information with him 3 different times before we could figure out why the trench hadn't been filled. It needs to be inspected by the city. Two days after that call it is not done.Main workers were decent. ****, the man who communicated pricing and contracts was awful and had zero remorse for being called out on their **** and continued to say that my pipes were indeed compromised after they were taken care of by another company.ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

On Thursday, 11/7/2024 we had a telephone conversation with Quality Control that was very disturbing. The personal demeaner, volume and aggressive nature was not only offensive, but totally lacking any semblance of customer service or ability to listen to the customer. We did not appreciate the loud and repeated bullying during the conversation while constantly insisting that we had signed a contract with ARS, so we had no recourse, and ARS was under no obligation to correct the issue.While having our HVAC Unit serviced, the technician discovered an impact fracture on the unit that was either a manufacturing flaw when the unit was built, damaged during warehousing, or at some point was dropped by the installers or other technicians at the time the unit was installed. Even at the time of installation, we sustained water damage to several rooms (ceilings) which ARS hired a contractor to come in and repair. When we agreed to hire ARS to install the unit, we assumed they would provide excellent service and a quality product. Unfortunately, what we received was a unit with a condensation catch pan that was faulty. The ARS technician who worked on the unit told me he had never seen this before. In addition to the damaged catch pan, the unit shut down due to a backed-up condensation discharge ******* was not until we received an email from your accounting department requesting we give a credit card for payment that we finally (after 38 days) received your phone call.Any thought that we are bound by a contract is null and void as we signed the aforementioned contract in good faith, expecting a quality product and service, which we did not receive. Due to the fact that the impact fracture to this component could not have occurred after *************** expectation that you will correct the condensation issues in my attic by either cleaning the unit or providing a scrubber. **** ******ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

In January of 2024 I bought a very expensive 4 ton ac unit. I paid a lot for a system with a complete 100% satisfaction warranty. I only have air flow in 3 out of 4 bedrooms. The room in question was not being used and has no air flow to this day. The vent just rattles. I called the ARS company to fix it a few months later. (I hadnt used the air since it was January). They came out 3 times and in the last visit the new technician figured out what was wrong. It has been 3 months since they came out to fix the system. I got a post card saying they were bought out by Del-Air Vero Beach. I am very disappointed with the management. They were BUSY when I called on multiple occasions and never called me back.
