I would not recommend this company. They damaged my 80 inch TV while putting the legs back on it and wanted to offer me a $500 check for a $2000 TV. I notified them immediately delivery day and was told they would take care of it. That was a lie.. find any other company but this one.... it's a shame I even have to select a star just to leave this review..Two Men & A Truck Response

While we regret that a tv was damaged in the process of the move, we have processes and regulations that we have to follow. We reserve the right to repair, replace, or compensate at the selected valuation and release of liability chosen by the customer. Be that as it may, our Operations team is still working to resolve the issue.Review from Dawn B

Very helpful and pleasant. **** and ******* were both very efficient and professional. Did a great job moving items from my parents home to mine. They took special care of a small table that belonged to my grandparents. Definitely recommend and would hire again. Thank you!!Review from Eva W

The experience was good. Both movers were very nice. Yes, there was some minor damage to some boxes, like holes punched in them by other pieces and the bottoms of furniture. But thats pretty normal during moving. Some things just cannot be avoided. They did the best they could. I will not be able to inspect for any further damage, simply because boxes and so cannot be opened until I move into the next home I will purchase. But i can attest to the fact that they worked hard, were very pleasant in dealing with them and tried the best they could. They put up with having to arrange another storage space because ****************** had given me the wrong space. (too small). So they lost time. I know that I have to pay for that, but it doesnt take away from the fact that one of them lost quality time with his children. Thank you guys. *****.Review from Avery D.

I would not recommend this company because they refused to except responsibility for the damage done to a refrigerator during a recent move. There is a contractual policy to notify them of damages within 96 hours. I will admit to not recognizing the damage to the appliance because it was placed in a garage. The fact that I did not report this within 96 hours does not negate the damage and the obvious responsibility of the company. The damage is obvious I was not informed at the time of the move. I was offered $125 in a refund for a refrigerator valued at approximately $3000. The refrigerator is only six months old. This is shameful and not acceptable practice for any business. I also tripped, bought pizza, and supplies the works with water/Gatorade, and they did not notify me of the damage. There was also damage to a bedframe that was pointed out to me by a family member eight days after the move. That I cant repair on my own and it not even to seek compensation for it.Two Men & A Truck Response

We strive to provide great customer service on every move we perform. During the move for this customer, we did a mid-move call and customer stated the move team was doing a great job. We then did a post move call two days after the move and the customer again stated the move team did a great job. In the event there is a damage on a move, our service agreement requires the customer to report it to us within 96 hours. We didnt hear from this customer until 10 days after the move to report a damage -well outside the reporting window. Even though they contacted us well after the reporting window, we did offer a payment for an appearance allowance and this was turned down.Review from Catrice D

This company I will never recommend to any one. I purchased two glass dresser night stand, valued in the amount of $500 each. These pieces were very sentimental to me and this company treated my items like it was nothing, no big deal. Yea they broke, so what type attitude. The day of the move, three guys came to the house and moved three glass furniture pieces and two glass scones. The head driver (DJ) gave me paperwork and told me to sign in the highlighted areas. DJ advised me of the amount of hours and what the overage charges would be if needed. DJ never advised me of the liability insurance portion, but was quick to ask for a tip during his presentation. However, the preparation with the move continued. The movers finished and proceeded to the drop off point. I meet the team there and briefly left to talk with the apartment manager. I told my daughter to give DJ $60 tip for the entire team. DJ and his team was leaving when my daughter notice glass breakage. DJ advised he has contacted his boss to make a claim and that your mom knew of the damage. I do admit there was a nickel size crack already acknowledged before the move. Once I returned back to my apartment and saw the severity of the dressers, I was terrified. DJ and his team took a $60 tip after knowing they damaged my property. This company has no value, respect for customers property, and is unethical. This company hires people that are incompetent, just to get a job done. DJ rushed through the liability portion of the contract. I was not aware of what the liability consist of. I take full responsibility for not thoroughly reading the contract. This company trapped me and I have to pay for glass replacement. The company offered me $90 for both broken pieces, not $90 each. I am hurt and felt robbed. I thought I had chosen a great moving company. I will never use them again, then after to find out the same company lost screws to a customers bedroom set. There is no regards to customers feelings or items. Two Men & A Truck Response

We are very sorry that there was a damage on this move. We take great care to pad and stretch wrap items to protect them. In this case, an item that already had some damage was damaged further in the moving process.
We are a professional moving company and do work to only put qualified movers on jobs. Our movers are screened, interviewed, background checked, drug tested, and have MVRs pulled. In addition they are trained extensively to properly protect furniture with pads and stretch wrap and to load and secure items on the truck.
Customers select one of two coverage options at the beginning of the move 1. Basic coverage - no extra cost and items are covered at 60 cents per pound. 2. Full depreciated value coverage - extra fee depending on the size of the move. On the move for Catrice Dye, she selected basic coverage and was not charged any extra. When advised of a damage on the move, our Operations Manager immediately spoke with the customer, calculated the damage reimbursement amount and a check was sent. In this case, based on the weight of the damaged item, the reimbursement was $90.
As for the tip, if the customer feels this was given to the movers erroneously or under false pretense, we would be happy to collect these funds from the move team and return these to the customer. Please let us know if this is the action you would like to take and we will work with the move team to make this happen.
Our reputation is everything and we work hard to deliver an excellent product every day.

Two Men and a Truck is a disgrace to the community. Yes, I shared the damage (front right corner) with the driver (DJ) so my thought are why did that even come up because I did not lie or deceive anyone. That small damage did not spread at all. They deceived me, to beg for a tip as if they really deserved it, well I thought they did until I found the severe damage. I have not received any check in the amount of $90 which was suppose to have been sent out. The tip of $60 I gave to DJ and others, I would like my money back. DJ needs to watch what he does to blame the damaged property on the others as if they were new employees he was training. Regardless new or old workers, everyone is responsible. The insurance liability was there and again my error for signing the papers without completely reading it. The boss or who ever is responsible for hiring such people need to make sure these people hired do not rush through the forms and thoroughly explain the forms. Lastly, I will be waiting for all my money, well the money they came up with, back to me and my tip. I will never in life recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone. They have more complaints coming I am sure. Two Men & A Truck Response

The check for $90 was mailed the day we talked to the customer about her damage. We will retrieve the $60 tip from her move team and send a second check for this amount.
