I purchased a Mold Test Kit to check for mold in an apartment of the building I am the facility manager for. We mailed the test on 9/6/24 with a check for $40 as requested in the instructions in the box and I called to check on the status of the test and they told me that they don't have anything, and they don't accept checks. Why is it then stated on the box instructions? Where is my money and the test I sent? I want from them my money back and for them to send me a free test and no charge for the next test I sent them. I purchased 7 Mold Armor Test analysis's and sent in samples to be analyzed. I never received results from any of them. They were $40 each. Totaling $280. I would like reimbursed. Product was not labels properly and damaged a wall to wall carpet. Warnings were no visable to the the nakes eye. W,M, **** assrts there is an :inside label that is not clealy marked on the product.Initial Complaint

I purchased three test kits and mailed all three in. We opted to only pay for analysis of two test kits at $40/kit, so one of our kits would be void. I only received lab results for one kit. I reached out multiple times to get a resolution and the first time they told me they only received one kit even though they were mailed together. Then they told me they received all three kits but only one was paid for. I provided my receipt stating that I did pay for two of three kits. Then they told me they did receive all kits and have results for two of the three kits but Will not send me the results that I have proven I don't have. They also are not issuing me a refund for the one kit I did not receive results for, totaling $40.Initial Complaint

On July 1, 2023 I purchased a product called " Mold Armor" to wash down the siding of my double wide mobile home. We mixed the product as per the instructions on the container. Followed them to the letter. We did a test area on the back of the home and it appeared to be fine. So we proceeded to clean the home. It was done in 3 foot sections as instructed and each section was sprayed, washed, rinsed and dried as it instructed. After going completely around the home we noticed that where we had started, it seemed to appear wet but looking upon it more closely we realized that in fact the siding was discolored. The entire home was covered with white blotching. The vinyl siding as well as the vinyl window frames and skirting were destroyed. Shortly after I asked my husband what was on his shorts, he said he didn't know. I looked at them and it hit me, it was from the product, it had bleach his shorts everywhere they were sprayed or had gotten wet. It was then I put two and two together and knew that product was nothing more than bleach and it discolored my entire home. It literately bleached all of the vinyl on the house. I have pictures of the damage. I contacted the company and they seemed very willing to take care of the matter. I provided them with all the product information on the gallon jugs. I sent them pictures of the damage, receipts everything they'd asked for. They even gave me a claim number # P3292322 496 01. And said they would have their adjuster contact me. It had been sometime since I spoke with them so I called back. They sent me forms via email and said they needed me to fill them out and have them notarized, which I did and sent them back via pdf's as well as through regular mail. I call them and I'm basically put off with excuses. In July this will be a year I've been waiting to resolve this matter.Customer response

I live in ******* which has high humidity much of the year. To help control the mold and mildew problem, I have been using for many years and with great success, a product called DampRid (UPC ***********) . In my house, I utilize 7 bags hanging at all times in 4 closets, and 3 underneath the sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen. Until late last year, I was most satisfied with the results. However, at the end of December 2023, my wife went into her closet and felt the squish of liquid between her toes. The bag of DampRid in her closet had broken open spilling the contents all over the floor. In January 2024, we discovered 4 more bags had also broke, all within a 2 week period. I replaced all bags in the household with newly purchased DampRid and have not have any further incident. I called ***************** and *** in January to report my opportunity with defective DAMPRID. Included in the report was the lot number off one of the broken bags. The ***************** associate was very personal and professional. She mailed out 3 coupons, each for 1 FREE box of DAMPRID, which I received in February. During February 2024, I have been to 2 different ******* stores, one Publix and one *********** Each retailer stated the coupons were non redeemable. The associate at ********** stated she has seen several of these coupons, and suggested I call the manufacturer. I called *******************. around March 5, 2024. The associate stated that they did not have a list of retailers that could accept the coupon. Therefore, I am not happy with ***************** and company.First, they sell a defective product which caused me considerable time to clean up the mess.Then the send worthless coupons to "replace" the defective product.All I am asking is where can I go to redeem the 3 coupons?I think that this is fair.If you can contact ***************** and ** on my behalf, I would most grateful.Please contact me if you have any questions.Thank you.**************************Initial Complaint

I am writing to follow up on my previous complaint regarding a Damprid bag I purchased from *************, which has resulted in a damage to my property.As previously reported on 1.21.2024 to ************* customer service I hung the Damprid bag in my walk-in closet as recommended per the manufacturer instructions, however the bag leaked due to some manufacturing issue (most likely) causing its contents to spill over my kids clothes, backpacks, and other items stored underneath also on the floor, and carpet.The liquid from the Damprid bag has soaked into the rug, padding, and wooden carpet holder in the closet, leaving behind an oily texture on the rug. The padding has started to stain, indicating that the Damprid material may still be present. I had to replace both the carpet, and padding due to the extent of the damage.Additionally, I had to discard several baby clothes and a storage container that were soaked by the leaking Damprid bag, all details are attached.Despite my efforts, I have been unable to determine an estimated time of arrival for a resolution from either ************* or the insurance company they use. The total damages are estimated to be approximately 986.38$ (details attached).I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter and request compensation for the damage caused by the faulty Damprid bag.Initial Complaint

I bought the Mold Armor test kits from *********** I took samples of areas throughout my home to determine if I have any mold issues in my home. I then purchased test results be sent to me and send the samples via **** I was supposed to have already received the results for 5 samples. Each sample cost me $40.00 each for the test results. I purchased three Mold Armor test kits from Hime Depot. I followed the instruction for the testing procedure and decided Id pay for the ********* text option that is offered. I register each kit online on October 25th 2023 at $40 per kit (x3 = $120 total) which has been charged to my **** card. It has been a week since I mailed the kits to the lab and tried calling **************************************** to check on the status and quickly came to the conclusion that I was unable to reach anyone regarding my purchase/lab results. The customer service phone has several option to select and not one option reaches a live person but directs you to their online web site. I did visit their website and left a text and was told someone would be in touch but was not contacted as of today. I have a feeling this is a scam and would like my money returned.
