My 2014 ****** Altima was towed by *************** employee ******** April 11, 2023 between the hours of 530p-7pm from ************** and *************. Flag City Motots was called by Shelby County Sheriff. When I arrived I stated to ******** I had already called a tow truck that was provided by my insurance company. During his process of towing the vehicle he damage the front bumper and the driver side fender. My fiance ******************************* did speak with the secretary of Flag City Motors which he was instructed to call ************************************* the General ******. ****************** was asked to send pictures by ******************************** in which they were sent. **** emailed back to say he could not open the pictures. The pictures were sent again. I email **** April 11, 2023 at ****am explaining the issue in full detail. He has not replied to my email. ****************** phoned May 3, 2023 speaking with the secretary leaving a message for **** to return a call. NO call has been received. There was no prior damage to the vehicle before towing by Flag City Motors. This is true because the vehicle hadn't long been repaired whereas a new bumper and fender had been replaced. While complaining to ******** about the damage he showed no compassion and stated the bumper could be popped back in place. The bumper cannot be popped back in placed because ******** damaged the clamp on the bumper. There was a receipt given, my signature was not asked for regarding the damage release statement displayed on Flag City Motors receipt neither was I advised of such statement.Business response

I received a phone call from a *******************************. He complained about damage to a vehicle, 2014 ****** Altima *****************. He said that we had damaged the vehicle while providing towing service. I asked ******** to email me photos of the damage he was claiming that we did. He sent me an email with 4 photo links, all to a ****** Drive. I informed him that we were not able to access the ****** Drive, and asked him if he'd send the photos as a direct attachment to the email. Instead, I received a second email, this time from ***************************, repeating her claim to damage on her vehicle. Investigating the claim has revealed the following information.
We received a call from Shelby *********************** on April 11, 2023 at approximately 5:50pm CST. The call was for an accident/ disabled vehicle that had broken down at the intersection of ************** & ************* *******, ** *****. The vehicle had suffered mechanical damage. One of the front rims and its tire had come completely off the car, causing the car to slide into the intersection where it was disabled. Our driver noted that the corner of the car was completely on the asphalt. He said that *************** arrived on the scene. They wanted to request their own wrecker company to pick up their vehicle from the scene. The sheriff deputy on the scene refused their request, as the vehicle was in the middle of the intersection blocking traffic, and the sheriff had called us lawfully off the emergency wrecker rotation. The sheriff deputy told our driver to tow the vehicle. *************** wanted the vehicle towed to her house ****************************************************************. She paid $125 cash for this tow, as per Shelby *********************** ordinance.
*************** was advised on the scene of the accident that her vehicle was in disrepair. The entire front wheel had come off. ****** had been done to the body of her car as a result of the accident. As the vehicle was sitting on asphalt, and the deputy was ordering the tow, our driver loaded the vehicle and the separate tire, and towed them to her house. Any damage caused to this vehicle was a direct result of the incident of the missing wheel and the vehicle sliding on the asphalt. Any incidental damage to the already damaged parts as part of our towing efforts was unavoidable, and explained to the customer prior to towing. We were told to tow it anyway by the deputy. Due to these facts, we are denying all liability for this claim.
