I recently enrolled in this school October 11th. I had 2 of my uncles die in the beginning of October, and a close cousin all in the same week. I got sick in November so I had to miss days of school. All of the days I missed were excused but the dean Ms **** said otherwise. I have proof of all the dates I missed they were for a reason and she proceeded to encourage me to drop out. Even though you're allowed to have 10 unexcused days, most of mine were "excused". I was threatened and she didn't want to help me in anyway. She made me feel really upset and she doesn't talk in a professional manner. I also emailed the admissions director and she was willing to help me but she said she didn't see my email on Wednesday November 24th even though there was school that day. Ms. **** claimed that she dropped me the very next day so they never looked at my email. This school is very unprofessional. The first time I enrolled they didn't even have a teacher for my nail technology program. So I enrolled again and they had a teacher who had been there for 3 weeks. She isn't a nail technician she's a cosmetologist she does hair. So the class basically taught ourselves. I just think it's unfair that I got kicked out of school for days that were unexcused and I shouldn't be charged for any loans if I cannot return.Business response

We are in the process of setting up a meeting to discuss her future as a student here at GCI. She has expressed interest in coming back to school and we are open to exploring her options as the institute has recently changed its management structure.
