Anderson Pool and Spa in Murfreesboro TN. They are very unprofessional and will not return a call or email. They kept our ******* pool cleaner for 6 months giving us excuse after excuse why it wasn’t fixed. Finally we get the call that it is fixed and ready to go. STILL DOESN'T WORK. They offered absolutely nothing when we called and told them they were losing a customer. Terrible business etiquette. Do not waste your time or money. They do not know what they are doing.

Hi ****** - Your nasty review deserves a reply, especially since it's not entirely accurate or truthful. You and your husband were angry and rude from day 1; he even apologized for his bad attitude, via text. Like you, we wish we had never accepted your ******* cleaner for warranty repair. You purchased it online, NOT FROM US. Your husband also stated he filed the warranty for the cord. Maybe they won't send warranty parts to homeowners. Either way, we should have refused you as a customer. You dropped your cleaner off in May, the busiest month of the year, and we informed you at that time that we were a brand-new direct repair dealer for the ******* cleaners, and it might take us a minute to get things going. You were also informed of other ******** in our shop, pending the same cord that yours needed. Our rep advised that the cord for your *******, and the others in our repair shop, was backordered by the manufacturer, which is completely out of our control, there was NOTHING we could do about that issue. We relayed that information to you via text. We even loaned you our demo ******* cleaner, which we didn't have to do but wanted to help you. Instead of being appreciative, again you were angry and rude, telling us it wasn't as good as the one you purchased online, but it was better than nothing. You then sent pictures stating our cleaner turned your pool green. Yes, it could have been our cleaner, OR, it could have come from trees or swimsuits that have been in other pools, lakes, or oceans. Yet again, we tried to appease you by providing chemicals to clear it up. We gave you, free of charge, yellow quell and turbo shock, leaving them outside in a bag to accommodate your friend who was picking up, since you couldn't get here before we closed. We mistakenly charged your friend and then refunded the charge on the same day since they were for you. Your husband sent pictures, via text, of your cleared up pool, and agreed that it was indeed cleared up during that text conversation. We couldn't have posted before and after pictures of your cleared up pool on ******** if he hadn't sent pictures of your cleared up pool. We have that text conversation, and you're welcome to stop by anytime and review the texts and photos that came from your husband. You also didn't dispute/question the before and after photos when they were shared on ******** in August. Yet, it’s mentioned above in your nasty review. You questioned your ******* cleaner repair on our ******** post in September, which we replied to, and then followed up once we confirmed the power cord was still on backorder with the manufacturer. Your husband also acknowledged that update. We notified you on Sept 28th that your cleaner was ready for pickup, you had complained about the repair taking so long, yet you didn't pick it up until October 18th, nearly 3 weeks later. If, when you got it home, it wasn't working, you could have let us know without being ugly and rude, yet again. We have a tester, provided by ********** (the manufacturer), to test their equipment. The cleaner was tested prior to pick up, and it WAS working. If there's an issue with the tester they provided and the ******* works when we test here in the shop, but doesn’t work when you take it home, again, that is out of our control, and we don’t know until you communicate the issue to us. We have already reached out to our rep concerning the issue and he will be here on the 9th, if you would like to come in and talk with him. Again, you're welcome to bring it back, and we will hook it up and see if it is still working on our tester. Finally, if we had no skills to run a business, we would not have survived 40+ years AND have an A+ rating with the BBB for the last couple decades. We certainly hope you've found a company to service your pool needs. We also hope you do not grace our doors again with your bad attitude, false statements, and accusations. Thanks!

I am now in my 2nd year of being a customer of Anderson Pools in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The service has been so personal, so good, so friendly. Even for something as simple as testing my pool water for me the customer care is always the same 5 stars. Today I told Nikki, that even if they were in the next town over I would still come to them for all my above ground pool needs but I am thankful that they are on my side of Murfreesboro.

We purchased our pool from Anderson Pools I'm Murfreesboro many years ago. Lots of problems along the way. Leaks, floor In the pool on the deep end collapsed. They cam and patched it up. Pool walls are separating and of course that's all due to settlement according to them. I had them come out look and have ask them for prices and availability on the pool wall panels. Emails phone calls to Nikki can't even get prices. Not the company you want, they do not take care of their previous customers. Don't use this company! Hope this saves someone from what we went through.

Good morning! I spoke to ********** on Friday 8/19. I was going to see what panels we had in the back and let him know. I actually emailed him this morning before I got this message.
      History:
1998-1999 pool was built and paid in full no issues during the pool build indicated in his file.
2004 Replaced the liner in the pool *********************** came out to check for leak before we installed the new liner. All the plumbing tested was good but found 15 holes in the liner.
2010 2 services call to check for a leak on the equipment pad & customer was out of town and we went by to check on the pool it had turned green
We have not heard from ********** until Oct 2021. He requested that I come and take a look at the pool for cracks in the panel and concrete. I did go out about 2 weeks after his call to me. I found the pool empty of water and the back half of the concrete deck had been removed and was no longer there. ********** had removed the liner and 1/2 if the deck before I came out to look at the issues. He said the pool had been empty about 2 to 3 weeks at that time. The back half on the pool has dropped down and cracked 2 of his panels. He has had some major ground movement for this to happen. I took pictures while I was there to discuss with my construction crew. They agreed it was ground movement. I sent ********** a proposal on April 13th, 2022 and did not hear from him until June 2, 2022. He did request some pricing on just the panels that needing replacing. In July 11, 2022 He asked again if I had gotten any pricing on the panels. I had failed to get the pricing for him. I spoke ********** on Friday 8/19 as he called the office and spoke about the panels once again. I was off yesterday and had the construction guys help me look at panels we had this morning and I emailed him what we had available here. I then saw the email to the BBB about the situation. I have all documents, pictures and emails if I need to send any of them to you. ********** is welcome to have any panels he needs that we have here at no cost to him. I gave him the hours we are open and he could come at any time to get them.

I was strung along for 2 years under a contract promising a locked in price. ( terms also stated if I change my mind Anderson Pools and Spa get to keep my down payment.) I was emailed their monthly progress reports. When it came to my name on list... Nikki made appointments with me that she didn't keep. Nikki tried her best to discourage me. Poor customer relations. Then sends me an email that she's no longer fulfilling any NEW contracts. After a lot of back and forth conversations she sends me my downpayment. Later telling me I was retuned my deposit because I didn't respond. Now she offers me the opportunity to get a rebid on the job.. Why did she not lead with that? She has about 10 (2020) contracts before mine. I don't know what game she's playing.... After defaulting on contract I would never consider doing business with her.

      *************************************

      Dear *****************,

We have some very sad news to communicate to you. Our construction crew has dwindled down to just four people. We are working with a temp agency, but they are not having any more luck at getting us workers than we have had. Two of our people are ready to retire at the end of this year. Those are our most experienced workers in the crew. We know that is a common problem with other businesses, too.

The prices for equipment, concrete, plumbing, rebar, pool kits, and other necessary parts just keep going up on a weekly basis. Most likely the price of your pool is now more than doubled due to these unprecedented times.

This is a super sad time for us in the pool industry. We are prepared to give back your deposit that put you on our construction list. Unfortunately, we don't have any recommendations for you to go with someone else to build your pool. Folks are calling us to finish pools that have not been started with equipment and pool kits sitting in their backyards. It is a sad state of affairs in this industry.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

      Best Regards,

      Nikki A************** and Pamela A*******

We did not have any response from the ******** for over a month. I know ******** was going thru some medical issues at this time. I did receive a text from her and she was upset at the news of the email she received. In middle of may Myself and Pam A******* sat down and took a look at pricing, our employees, & current ordering of parts etc... for over 2 weeks and decide in the best interest of the company we would not be able to continue building new construction. It was a very hard decision to make as we have been building pools since 1981. We let our customers know as soon as we had made the decision final. It does state in our contracts that the $1,500.00 deposit is non refundable, but given the circumstances giving the deposits back to our customers was the right thing to do. I did miss some appointments with ********, but I did keep in contact with her on those missed appointments. I was having to work in our retail store and could not leave the office because of shortage of workers. I was stretched very thin running all ends of the business at that time. She did send me a text stating if she paid more she could have gotten her pool. I did tell ******** if I could get 2 of my construction guys to stay on longer I could rebid the pool to see where the numbers were at that time for her. I did not receive a response from her on that either. We had 6 contracts/customers on our construction list that we have refunded their deposits this includes the ********. I understand that this was a shock and disappointing to the ******** and my 5 other customers, but it was equally as hard for us to send that email on 6 /16/2022. We are keeping our retail store and service dept. open and running. We had to do what was in the best interest of our company.

Missed appointments led to more missed appointments and apologies. As a consumer I felt Nikki had no intention on coming. March 2022 I received an updated construction list stating my pool and spa was approved by me. April 2022 the pool was and spa was allegedly ordered. Construction updates weren't sent anymore after April 2022.
I always responded to her emails if not by email a text was sent.
Had I not honored the contract I would have lost my deposit. Anderson defaulted on their contract which guaranteed me 80,000 for my pool and spa. I would like legal proof that they do not have to honor any new construction contracts.
Since this was their route taken... It should legally be in writing that Anderson Pool and Spas no longer have to honor contracts re: new construction .

I accidently sent earlier response before I was finished:

*********** has her deposit of $1,500.00 that she received by mail a couple weeks ago. She also has all the renderings I did for her on the pool and spa. I have all the county setbacks and drainage easement information on her lot. I have done a lot of renderings and preliminary work as to where the placement of the pool and spa would be located. She can certainly use all of of that information to move forward with another company if that is what she chooses to do. I am not going to go back and forth on this issue. We simply are a company that cannot continue to build new construction for a combination of reasons that is beyond our control. I think we have explained it clearly to the BBB & to ***********. If it has not been made clear enough then I can send another response on that if requested. I think our company has handled this very professionally and returned her full deposit back to ***********. This has not been easy on us as a company and the other 5 customers were very understanding and understood our circumstances. I don't understand what *********** is wanting at this time.
