On 7/31/23, Ameri Care Services came to our home for an annual termite inspection. Mind you, weve had no issues and had our entire crawl space treated and encapsulated by another company who also installed floor jacks, dehumidifier and water pump. The technician wrote a report advising of multiple issues. We disagreed with this report thus had the contractor come out to inspect who did the work as well as had another termite company come out to inspect. Both companies absolutely disagreed with the report and reported absolutely no issues. They provided reports along with pictures ascwell as humidity readings. All readings were perfect! I brought this matter to Ameri Cares attention. Their manager came out and reassessed. I requested the report be rewritten correctly. Its been over a week with no response back after I was told I would get a call by 9/11/23. It is my belief after consulting with the other companies and receiving their reports, Ameri Care fabricated the report to generate sales. Our crawl space was completely repaired by another company.Customer response

This company has not returned my calls either. I hope that a negative report can at least be done. Their lack of response from the BBB certainly shows their character. Thank you for trying to assist.

On February 9th, 2023, an inspection of our crawl space was done. The inspector indicated that there were problems and that corrective action would be needed to fix whatever issues he had found. He also informed us that a report and photos would be made available. Since then, we have been skirted, ignored, and disrespected by ***************************** through a lack of response. Despite being told many times that she was working through our case on two occasions, we have had zero follow through on any of the promises made. We believe that the company is either avoiding a problem that our agreement requires them to address or that they do not care enough to provide a straightforward answer. We currently owe $213 for another year of coverage, but we are withholding payment until we understand what is going on and how things will be corrected.Initial Complaint

On October 6, 2021 we cancelled the remainder of a service we had prepaid for with Ameri Care Services of Murfreesboro, TN (6 months of mosquito treatment). Unhappy with the job the technicians were doing regarding mosquito treatments, we cancelled after the 4th treatment and requested a refund for the remaining 2 treatments ($50 each for a total of $100). We received an email from the contact at Ameri Care acknowledging the refund request, and have yet to receive our money after numerous follow up calls to request it. For weeks now, every time I call I am told the person who is responsible for submitting the refund (*******) is in a meeting and is unavailable. On XXXXXX Ameri Care charged our credit card (which they have on file) for a quarterly pest control service (separate from the mosquito treatments) that had been prepaid for in August. I called Ameri Care and they acknowledged the mistake and stated the charge would be removed. The charge is now no longer a pending charge, but has posted on our credit card account. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with the card company filing a dispute for the charge. On XXXXXX I also informed ***** at Americ Care that we were cancelling out quarterly pest control services with Ameri Care, effective immediately and that we request a refund for the balance due for the prepaid services not yet rendered ($116.91). In total we are requesting a refund from Ameri Care for all cancelled services and for charging us for a quarterly service that had been prepaid for. The totals are $100.00 for cancelled mosquito treatments, $116.91 for cancelled pest control treatments, and $58.45 for erroneous charge to our credit card, for a grand total of $275.36. We expect this remittance to be made promptly, or we will seek other means of settling the issue, including the option of filing a claim against Ameri Care in Small Claims Court. After two months of runaround *** false promises from them the issue was resolved quickly after filing the complaint with the BBB, *** notifying them that our next step was to contact the office of the TN Attorney General.
