On 11/18/2019 I purchased 2 tires for a 1985 ******** mileage XXXXX. I noticed a shaking in the steering wheel and noticed the weights had flown of the tire that keeps them balanced. On 6/15/22 I called over to Tire World in Smyrna (where I bought the tires) to see how much it would cost and to make an appointment because it took 3 hours or so to get them put on. They said it wouldn't cost anything and they didn't have any open spots that day then they changed their mind and said 1 pm that day they can get me in. Mileage I arrived at 12:55 and when 1:45 came I looked and saw the car parked where I parked it. I went and asked if it was done. They said no I'm next. I asked what the deal was with the appointment they said they weren't going to keep a bay open. I had to get back to work so I was unable to get the tires re balanced. On 6/17/22 I went to their website and filled out the information (email, phone, ect to have them contact me to get another appointment. It's 6/22/22 and I haven't heard anything. I see this as a safety issue and apparently they don't. I would like to bring the car in and get the 2 tires re balanced within a reasonable time for an appointment. Nothing more complicated than that. I will also be fine with me getting them balanced somewhere else if they flip the bill.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/23) */ Mr. *********. I apologize for our recent wait times. We are extremely short handed as it is hard to find people to do this sort of job at this time. This is causing long wait times. We would definitely like to get your tires balanced however. Would there be a way you could leave it with us for a period of time by chance. We could also schedule another appointment but, what this means is that instead of the 3-4 hour walk in wait, an appointment is the next to go in an open bay. This could be 15 min or an hour. It's the best we can do without being able to let bays sit open causing even further delays for customers. Know that we want to do the job for you, we just need your help with the time piece. I can appreciate that, but the use of the proverbial "appointment" has been misconstrued and I wouldn't have that word anywhere on my advertising or business if I couldn't deliver. On another note, I can take them tires off and wheel them to your shop, no bay, no lift, no air compressor. I talked to two other companies and they both said that the wait with an appointment was bit excessive. Thanks but that leads me to the fact that you don't do appointments and that is what I'm looking for. Other company offered to do the balancing free of charge. Your services or lack there of are no longer required. Do better. You're losing sight on what made you what you are, THE COMMUNITY.
