My bill unexpectedly increased from $***** to $***** on June 13, 2022. I logged into Bill Fixers website and whole "auto fix" was turned off for all my accounts. They claimed that the added $** was for a savings they got me with ******** and *******. My ******** bill actually increased significantly in the month of June. They verified the plan was not changed or negotiated by anyone. The ******* account they worked on before doesn't even exist anymore. The only ******* account I have is one I just started that I prepay for and there is no contract or negotiations. Bill Fixers doesn't even have the account number because I just started that account. I had been paying them for XM Radio but according to my records I did the negotiation myself. That term ends in July. Bill Fixers made an unauthorized charge to my credit card and I want my money back. They basically stole $** from me that I never authorized them to get. They did not earn this money and my providers gave me dates and times when calls in were made. I checked that against my Verizon phone records and all those calls were from me. I want my $** back and not in the form of a credit because I will no longer do business with them.Business response

Second, we've gone ahead and waived all of your remaining BillFixers balance and cancelled your BillFixers account as requested. That said, I do want to address some concerns with you, just so you know what we did and how we calculated the savings. ******** ******** imposed a standard price increase for all customers effect March 2022. For many customers, this is a $**-$**/mo increase depending on their services. Additionally, your previous savings also expired in May, causing your bill to increase even more. You manually requested a renegotiation on 5/3. For this most recent negotiation, we got you a new $**/mo savings for your same service, which should be reflected on your bill. We're sorry if this isn't the case. ******* I've checked on your BillFixers account and can see that you have 2 different ******* bills. We do have one bill marked as closed, which is for account number ending in ****. However, we do have another bill under the account number ending in ****, which we were told is active when we called *******. You also manually requested a renegotiation on this bill on 5/3. For this negotiation, we got you a $**/mo savings for your same service as well as a $** one time credit. ******** We renegotiated your ******** last June 2021 since you still had AutoFix turned on. We got you multiple savings: $12/mo on Escape discount, $12/mo ** discount, $****/mo Escape ******************************* and $****/mo ** *******************************. Please note that after negotiation is complete, for privacy and security reasons, we don't access your account. We were unaware that you went ahead and renegotiated new savings onto your bill. Again, we're sorry for any misunderstanding or issues. We are always happy to help, but we do rely on our customers to reach out and flag any issues after the negotiation. I am confirming that we already issued you a full for $*****, waived all of your remaining BillFixers balance and cancelled your BillFixers account as requested. My house burned down on January 12th, it's a total loss and these soulless ghouls at Billfixers continue to collect the "savings" on my ******* bill. I had to cancel the ******* service when we moved to temporary housing so there is no savings anymore. This company is the scum of the earth to do this after we lost everything in a fire. I sent them two emails over the course of a week and they ignored both of them. I also sent them proof of the fire and still no response. Their website is intentionally set up to avoid contact with customers. I hope you all rot in hell.Business response
