Amy--
I apologize we did not meet your expectations with this promotion. Sincerely. And we do appreciate that you took the time to stop by our showroom to shop with us. It can be very frustrating when you've found something you love, then get turned around without the proper funding. We sometimes do not get a second chance to make a great impression and this kind of feedback does help us!
The terms & conditions for applications to our financing program do, indeed, require a standard credit check to qualify. Unfortunately, after you filled out the application, those requirements were not met. Perfect credit is not required at all but can help with the financing terms. Since we do not write the funding in-house, it can seem like we are telling customers "No" or "Slamming the door" in their face. Which is never the case.
So here are some alternatives we have tried and used successfully:
1) Secure funding through a local bank or alternative online financing. We have a lot of customers who use this method due to the relationships they already have. This can help in not just home furnishings and there are a lot of options to choose from.
2) Wait until credit improves. We also work with a lot of people motivated after buying a new home, remodeling, or moving to the area when credit is tied up until it is all finalized. Since we have new product assortments, we can get these items for you when the time is right. Plus, we always have items in stock.
3) We are actively looking for other financing options and are working with new vendors to get this part of our offerings.
Once again, we know this was a frustrating experience. Our financing promotions are always great time to shop and participate in but there will be more in the future. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.
Kind regards,
Scott Andrews
President
