We purchased our Champion Home June 2023 and have had nothing but problems since closing. There was absolutely no transparency in the sale and we ended up purchasing a home that is subpar in everyway possible with the vinyl siding continuously coming off. Yes we purchased a lot model home and with that accepted any normal wear and tear but the things we are dealing with are not normal wear and tear! We are dealing with the factory to get resolution for these issues but defiantly feel not helped and “duked” by the dealership. The entire transport and installation process was rushed by the dealership and this caused more damage than should have been to our home. We were initially quoted an amount for the complete demo of our old home onsite including demo of an addition, transport, and installation of our new home. That quoted price was to take 7-10 days and be done utilizing more equipment and manpower than ended up being done. The entire job was done in 2 ½ days using two people and a 20 foot demo trailer. We were initially told and the quoted amount included demo of our old home onsite as we were told by the contractor would have to be done since our old home had a secondary roof and with the added weight it was illegal to transport, it it ended up being transported 146 miles and supposedly demoed there. We were very adamant that the end amount should be less since it all required less work and hours but after several requests we still have not received an itemized invoice of what we paid. Our gas lines were ripped out with the removal of our old home and then covered with setting material and had to be dug up by the plumbing contractors which caused our yard to be torn apart. Our refrigerator was not tied down during transport and hit the island denting the refrigerator and moving the island several inches and we still have not been able to get the dealership to take responsibility and provide us a new refrigerator. This is not how business should be done!

The client purchased a stock unit at a reduced price in agreement to take as is, as well as in certain time frame. There were a couple items that needed to be repaired once the home was delivered and all those items have been done so including the refrigerator. The client is under the impression that their demo cost less than the contractor charged them, when in fact due to the inability to drop off the home to local dump, the demo team was forced to transport 2 hours away and back several times. This cost significantly more in fuel and labor vs the plan to demo on site. The demo was expensive because there were awnings, dwellings, and porches attached to the home which took a large amount of equipment and labor to complete.

We also encourage the client to file state inspection if there were persistent the home was done incorrectly. That inspection has been completed we were found to be in compliance with the state so there are no further issues we can address.

02/23/2022 $1000 was put down to hold a model home. It was told that it was refundable. Due to job relocation I had to not move forward with the home. The office has told me multiple times that the amount was processed to be refunded with no credit to show. I have spoken to the manager and other staff that have told me that it will be processed whenever I give them my information again. This has been going on since mid 2022 and I still haven’t seen a penny.
