I used Advanced Eye Care for my last 2 eye prescriptions. I have a retinol vein occlusion for which I have to have eye injections every 8 weeks. My vision is tested every visit and I'm told I have 20/20 vision with current prescription. My glasses frame broke and I called advanced for my prescription and they refused to give it to me without another appointment and eye tests. This is MY medical record to which I have a right toBusiness response

We greatly apologize for this inconvenience. We always want to provide our patients with their medical records. Abilene Advanced Eyecare understands that it is the patient's right and the records on file are theirs to have access to. One of our staff members will be reaching out as soon as possible to provide either a written copy of the prescription or given access to their patient portal where the patient will be able view examination records, past receipts, and glasses prescriptions. All glasses prescriptions are good for 2 years in order to have new lenses produced, but all prescriptions whether valid or expired are able to be accessed by the patient.
