I’m February of 2024 I bought a used 2019 ram 1500, I was given a carfax that showed it had never been wrecked before. Upon further investigation I found it that it has in fact been in an accident, and was sold at auction. I’ve had multiple problems with this truck and have reached out several times to try and get my issues resolved. I bought an extended warranty thru the dealership and brought the truck in to have some repairs done, two weeks later the truck broke down on me again and I had it serviced at the Lithia Chrysler dealership in San Angelo Texas, the Lithia dealership then informed me about multiple issues with the truck that I had already taken in to get fixed by Travis auto group, examples are (oil dipstick not installed correctly into the engine, drivers side shock and suspension missing bolts, and the entire front differential needed replaced) all of which was supposed to have been resolved by the dealership itself. Along with the issues I’ve already mentioned the dealership reported that they had installed a new suspension lift kit along with brand new tires, as I looked into the history of the truck more I discovered that they had falsely reported installing the loft and tires because the truck was lifted and had the same tires in it prior to it being put up for sale at the auction back in 2023. I’ve reached out multiple times about the dealership buying this truck back from me with no response. This truck has cost me $2300 in the last 3 months because their “warranty” isn’t covering the problems I’ve had even though the warranty contract states that the issues I’ve had should be covered.Business response

*****, Sorry you are having some issues with the truck. This is the first time I have heard about this. When did you reach out to us about the truck ? and do you remember who you spoke with ? Thats not the price we paid or the condition we bought the truck in and it looks like it was a repo from Ally bank and was probably stripped down (and not wrecked) before it got repoed. As far as the lift kit, it did have a slight lift already but the tires rubbed so installed a inch taller lift on it. No where on the carfax does it say we replaced the tires. I also looked up for any warranty claims and there has not been any submitted or denied, may I ask who was it that told you that your repairs were not covered ? because that warranty has very extensive coverage. I cant promise I can get anything done but If you can email me the invoices paid I will send to Alpha and see if I can get you reimbursed.
