Do not hire him to do anything. he bid repairs at ****** labor and he replace a shower and bath tub in 2 bath rooms. when inspected he installed both of them incorrectly. no support on bottom of tub or shower. plumbing is also wrong. he short cutted many things just interested on getting paid. only worked 6hrs a day. i paid him when he got close to compleation with a promiss that he would come back and finish. he never came back to finish and wont return calls. beware of this guy bad news. now I have to pay someone else to do repairs correctly. his word isnt worth a ****. *********************

In December of 2021, I hired South Texas Renovation, ****** Haskins, to renovate the interior of 8 units. We agreed on a price per unit to encompass everything including cleaning to make them rent ready. Things were going slow but good overall for the first few weeks. He wanted what he called "payroll" each week but I reminded him often that we had a set amount for the contract and that his work completed was not equaling the amount he was getting paid. On February 18th he asked for another payment and I told him that we were down to the last 10-15% of the balance and I needed to wait and pay that after the job was complete. At this point, he had received 85% of the contract amount but had only completed at most 65% of the work. On February 19th, he didn't show up to the jobsite and when I asked him about it he said his guys needed to be paid and he knew that it wasn't my problem but he would have to get that money from another job and then he promised me he'd be back the next week to complete the job. I've reached out to him via text and phone calls numerous times since then and he has not returned either. I have since sent him a certified letter stating that his service are no longer needed and he is not welcome on the jobsite. Beware of this contractor. He pushes for material to be bought and left at the jobsite and he was always demanding pay even when the work didn't justify it. He left me with the job unfinished and material unaccounted for.
